Fluidlink Hydraulics Ltd specialises in the design and manufacture of hydraulic power packs for mobile and industrial applications. The company was established in 1993 when it started out as a distributor of hydraulic equipment for Smiths Industries Hydraulics. When Smiths ceased trading in 2002 Fluidlink invested and developed its business in order to provide the industry with its very own range of high quality hydraulic products. We have continued to develop our range of products continually throughout the years and provide the industry today with a wide range of mobile hydraulic power packs and equipment. We widely supply to various industries such as welfare and medical, light industrial, construction and marine, materials handling, perimeter security and parking barriers, waste compaction and recycling and leisure. All of our hydraulic products are manufactured to extremely high standards and we follow strict quality control procedures to ensure that all products leave our premises in tip top condition ready for use. Our engineers are highly experienced and able to solve customer problems quickly and efficiently. We are dedicated to providing all of our customers with a first class service at all stages from enquiry through to design, prototype and manufacture.
We manufacture and supply a fantastic range of mini power packs suitable for use with various applications such as demounts, tail-lifts and tippers. These are manufactured in standard form but can also be tailored to suit specific requirements. The range features the G Pack (a solid aluminium centre body and plastic or steel tanks with AC and DC motors), the Mk3D (the best of the original units as well as components from around the world), and the Slimline (an aluminium cast centre body and a steel tank, available in various sizes, in DC with 3 inch to 5 inch motors and pre-mounted Cetop3 or Series 35 valves).
Our autopacks are available in unidirectional format (fitted with a lowering valve for single acting lift, hold, dump circuits) or reversible format (feature an integral pilot operated check to hold the cylinder in place when the unit is switched off) and can be fitted with a range of 3 inch AC and DC motors. They are widely used for applications such as bath lifts, coffin lifts and other similar applications. Our range of autopacks feature a solid centre body and are available with 12/24V DC and 230V AC motors from 150W-800W and can withstand pressures up to 180bar with flows of up to 3L per minute.
Our industrial power packs are designed and manufactured for use with demanding applications. These robust models are robust and reliable for long term use in various industries and can be tailored to meet customer requirements. A range of circuitry and configuration with electrical drives or engine powers up to 100kW are available suitable to power machinery such as bridges, waste compactors and crushers, security doors, test rigs, and various types of submersible equipment. Please contact us at Fluidlink with your requirements.
We are also pleased to provide a small but effective range of hydraulic hand pumps. These models are tough and robust and designed for manual use on a range of applications such as tipper trailors, coffin lifts and other similar types of lifting equipment. All of our hand pumps are manufactured to extremely high standards in order to provide reliable and long lasting solutions.
To complement our range of high quality power packs, we also manufacture and supply our own pump motor units (PMU’s). These compact units are manufactured to extremely high standards and are based on the Mk3D and G Pack assemblies. They are available with a range of options to suit customer requirements. Options include flows up to 20 litres per minute, pressures up to 300 bar, and 1.6Kw and 3Kw nominal motors.
We also manufacture and supply various hydraulic valves including the Cetop3, Cetop5 and the latest Series35 range. The Series35 Valves have been remodelled from Smiths original Ser30 range and is a compact version designed as a direct replacement for the earlier model. They feature maximum pressure (PAB) up to 250bar and maximum pressure (T) up to 140bar and flow rate up to 30 l/min. The Series 35 range is available with inlet, intermediate and end section to create complete hydraulic systems.
We are dedicated to providing our customers with a complete range of services for the most effective hydraulic solutions. We stock large amounts of replacement parts for motors, pumps, lowering valves, tanks, start switches and more at any one time in order to provide customers with a fast and efficient service. All of our spares are supplied at cost-effective prices. Please contact Fluidlink with your requirements or visit our website to locate your nearest distributor.
Alongside our excellent design and manufacturing service we also provide the industry with an installation and commissioning service for our large units. Please visit our website to view images and case studies. One of our commissions was from a major UK manufacturer of aerospace and automotive components who was working on a contract for an internationally renowned client. To complete the contract we were called in to redesign and build a 110Kw press capable of delivering 300 tonne force. As part of the commission we built and installed the power pack to the customer’s requirements.
Not only do Fluid Link provide a range of top quality hydraulic Power Packs, but they also offer a top quality installation and commissioning service to its clients who purchase the larger models.
First, the engineers will make sure that the hydraulic pack in question is suited to your exact specifications, and will then deliver the pack to your site, assemble and install it themselves. For your peace of mind, all engineers are highly trained and experienced to ensure the job is done 100% right.
