Our Mica Insulated Heaters are used for a wide range of applications, including blow moulding, rubber moulding, packaging, shoe manufacturing, food processing, and much more. We have a large range that includes mica bands, mica plates, mica nozzles, mica discs, mica boxes, and mica ‘Us’, strips and cones. Mica heaters are widely recognised for their reliability and efficiency – Elmatic utilise the highest quality mica available, ensuring excellent dielectric strength and maximum heat transfer. Specially treated sheath materials are used for enhanced thermal conductivity and improved oxidation-resistance.
Elmatic's range of cartridge heaters are typically used for applications such as heating mould tools, tooling, printing, hot foil printing, catering, shoe manufacturing, and in packaging machinery, heat sealing equipment, plastic process machinery and food processing machinery. All of our products are
engineered to suit the full spectrum of cartridge heater applications. These are available as standard or bespoke models which can be designed and manufactured to your requirements. We also offer the hardwearing Max K Cartridge Heater, designed to withstand adverse operating conditions up to 750 degrees C. To find out more, please follow the link to the Elmatic website.
These have long been recognised as the most versatile heating elements. Indeed, tubular rod and immersion heaters are used in all sorts of commercial, industrial, domestic and scientific applications, from the smallest water tank to the largest silo. Elmatic have the experience and expertise - as well as the design and manufacturing facilities - to produce bespoke immersion heaters that are tailored to your needs. We work with a wide variety of sheath materials, including Incoloy, Stainless Steel, and Mild Steel.
As a company with over 70 years of experience in the manufacture of industrial heating equipment, there are few challenges that we cannot overcome. Using the very latest CAD/CAM technologies, our expert engineers are able to design and develop customised heating solutions for a wide range of applications, no matter how simple or complex. If you would like to discuss an idea, please give us a
Here at Elmatic (Cardiff) Ltd we stock a wide variety of nozzle heaters for low to medium temperatures up to 300°C and for high temperatures up to 750°C. These can be used in a wide range of applications including injection/blow moulding, plastic process machinery, rubber moulding, test equipment, laboratory equipment, medical equipment, food process machinery, shoe manufacturing machinery and many more. We manufacture all heaters exactly to our customers’ design and specification and we require certain information in order to process any order. Please visit our website for further information, or, if you prefer, call us and we’ll be happy to discuss things over the phone.
Ceramic knuckle heaters are the answer to the industry’s demands for a high temperature heater that is also long lasting. They can be used in a multitude of applications including extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding, packaging, rubber moulding, test equipment, vacuum pumps, laboratory equipment, shoe manufacturing machinery, food process machinery, plastic process machinery and many more. Unlike all other types of band heaters available, the ceramic knuckle heaters heat by radiation. Please visit our website for more information. Here you will be able to find out more about ceramic knuckle heater specifications and be able to view a product gallery.
Whatever your requirements, Elmatic has the design and technical expertise to manufacture high-quality immersion heaters to meet your specific needs and we are able to cater for both one-off production as well as large-scale orders. We have the capabilities of constructing immersion heaters in a choice of materials to suit the majority of applications and temperature requirements by using materials including incoloy, stainless steel, mild steel and titanium. On our website you will find the size options available and details of resistance and wattage tolerances that can be achieved, as well as comprehensive information on the construction of our immersion heaters.
Air duct heaters are the perfect choice for achieving a comfortable ambient temperature for large open-plan spaces such as commercial buildings and entrances as well as for shrink tunnels, drying ovens and for use in curing processes. Our units can be made in a range of shapes, sizes and finishes to suit your requirements and as each application is unique, we will work with you to design an air duct heating solution to meet your particular needs, based on the area to be heated and the units positioning. Heaters will be arranged and angled in order to create optimum heat transfer for your buildings dynamics. Please contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail.
Elmatic’s square section heaters have been designed for optimised heat transfer through increased surface contact and are becoming the popular choice for applications such as plastic process machinery, die heating, laboratory equipment, food process machinery, aircraft and railway industries and mouldings. It is a fully sealed, single ended heater with high watt density that enables temperatures of up to 750°C to be achieved.
