Established in 1989 Ecological Planning & Research is one of the UK's leading ecological consultancies, lead by Directors Philip and Karen Colebourn, with a combined experience of over 50 years in ecology, planning, natureconservation, expert witness and ecological impact assessment. 

Our team of over 30 professional highly-qualified, knowledgeable professionals possess a wide range of skills and experience, specialising in ensuring workable ecological solutions for projects of all sizes, and providing the highest quality advice to our clients.  All professional members of the team are qualified to degree level or above and all are members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM).  We are able to field substantial project teams with the necessary skills to see successful outcomes for both our clients and ecology.
