Internal CCTV Cameras

Our HD cameras connect over data networks and are IP (internet protocol) addressable, which allows them to be connected to dedicated and existing data network infrastructures such as PCs. These cameras can record video to Windows and Apple PC hard drives, though we recommend using a dedicated network video recorder on a Linux operating system and with hard drives made for video media. Some of our cameras also offer built-in recording, simply through the insertion of an SD card.

Our range of internal CCTV cameras includes both dome and bullet cameras, with several options under £200. This includes cameras with built-in infrared illumination, auto-iris lenses and vandal proof designs.

External CCTV Cameras

As with our internal HD cameras, these cameras can be connected to PCs and record video to the hard drive or connected to dedicated network video recorders made specifically for recording video media. Some also offer built-in recording onto SD cards.

Our external CCTV camera range includes a variety of dome and bullet cameras, with features such as infrared illumination, auto-iris lenses and vandal proof designs.

PTZ Cameras

PTZ (meaning Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras have built-in motors that allow them to move side to side and up and down. These can be operated manually or by built-in programme tour or alarm event.

PTZ cameras are generally used on sites controlled by a local guard or monitored from a remote location. Their ability to be moved to more closely observe an incident or to view a different area on the site makes them very useful. They can also be used alongside motion sensors and tracking equipment to cover areas automatically and send alarms when necessary. Another application for PTZ cameras is in the automatic viewing and controlling of manufacturing equipment in production facilities.

Covert Discreet Cameras

For years, Digital CCTV have been pioneering the use of covert discreet cameras in ordinary objects, vehicles, vending and cash dispensing machines. Our range of miniature high resolution cameras have been used by fork lift truck drivers, racing drivers, fighter jet pilots and even chocolate manufacturing plants.

Our store also has cameras that can be placed in clocks, boxes, toys and walls, as a perfect solution for catching criminals in the act. Our pin hole cameras have minute lenses, which makes them incredibly difficult to see and thus perfect for hidden or covert applications. For industrial applications, we have miniature bullet cameras, which can be mounted to machinery, vehicles, buildings, aeroplanes and even marine applications.

ANPR Cameras

ANPR means Automatic Number Plate Recognition, which is the most effective method of tracking and tracing vehicles and automating access systems. At Digital CCTV Limited, we have assisted in developing some of the most advanced numberplate capture and processing equipment around, and it has taken over 20 years to refine this technology to what it is today.

Our store is host to a range of proven systems and methods for the capture, archiving and processing of moving vehicles' numberplates, including the most cost-efficient HD systems that have been recently developed.

Thermal Imaging Cameras

We have a wide range of thermal imaging cameras made for high security applications. With their ability to detect humans who are several kilometres away, they are perfect for use in border or boundary fence protection and surveillance. Some thermal imaging cameras can even detect targets that are nearly 20 kilometres away.

Darkness and diverse weather conditions can make border control a very challenging task, which is why thermal imaging cameras are very effective in such applications. They can further help border control projects by being integrated with radars and other sensors. In addition to land border applications, thermal imaging cameras are even effective in coastal surveillance.

CCTV Recorders

In 1998, we manufactured some of the first CCTV recorders in the UK, based on Windows 98 PC systems. Of course, capturing higher quality images at greater speeds requires high data processing rates, so we have improved our technology to keep up with the times. Our current capture technology is based on the well-established Linux platform, for its security and stability.

We don't believe that upgrading your system to HD should necessarily mean disposing of your old CCTV equipment, so we can help you to integrate your existing CCTV system with a HD system; operating old and new seamlessly. So whether you want to add remote monitoring, upgrade your DVR or introduce HD cameras, we can provide a solution for you.
