A UPS will get you over most short term  outages, but for real security, a standby generator in combination with the UPS should  considered.  • Environmental Monitoring and Alert System for Data Centres and Racks. Crucial to any business continuity strategy is the implementation of an effective monitoring and alerting system. Air-conditioning failure, water ingress, fire, power failures and physical security breaches are just a few of the many potential problems that seriously threaten the integrity of network hardware and data.  Our systems provide an advanced, yet uncomplicated solution to Data Centre room/rack monitoring and early-warning alarm notification. • UPS and generator testing will provide a comprehensive testing and diagnostic plan tailored to your requirements to ensure the UPS and generator systems will work at their peak efficiency. • Battery Testing using DC load banks or advanced battery monitoring test equipment • Power Surveys - In depth power analysis at the customers locations, to include earthing, harmonics, electrical interference and power distribution. • Thermal imaging - Over a period of time, fluctuations in current can lead to connections within electrical equipment becoming loose resulting in overheating and possibly fire • Room Integrity Testing that meet with ISO 14520. this is undertaken using volumetric calculations and Retrotec calibrated test fans used in conjunction with Retrotec software that is CA2001 compliant • Deep Cleans -  a full deep cleaning regime which includes cleaning of the sub floor void along with the pedestal and stringer substructure to ensure that your computer room is as dust and contamination free as possible.
• Fuel Scrubbing – due to the changes in the sulphur content of Diesel, when it is left standing for long periods of time, sludge can build up causing problems within the fuel delivery system of a standby generator • DCR will assess your current infrastructure and carry out energy surveys and will be able to provide guidance on the latest technology and solutions to improve running costs and operation of your facility
