Our feed products can be ordered and paid for via our online mail order service. We deliver to most areas of the UK and all orders received by 8am Monday to Friday will be collated and dispatched on the same day. Orders received after 8am will be collated and delivered the following working day. Carriage charges are applied to orders at the checkout stage and are determined on the total weight of feed purchased.

We supply a fine range of horse feed to our happy customers. Our team undertakes ongoing research with equine nutritionists to develop our fantastic range of competitively priced equestrian feed products. We supply feed to customers who own some of the finest race horses and eventers in the UK. Our quality horse feeds create effective results. Items within our range include Micronized Full Fat Linseed Oil, De-hydrated Apple Rings, Charnwood Kick-on Pellets, Garlic Powder / Garlic Granules, Brewers Yeast and Seaweed Meal. Our latest products now also include Easibeet™, micronized, flaked and unmolassed sugar beet flakes.
Our Full Fat Linseed Meal is high in Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids. Its high energy combined with very low starch levels is beneficial to most equines including older horses and ponies and those that are prone to laminitis. In its raw state, the Linase enzyme in linseed can trigger the release of hydrogen cyanide. The micronization process of our linseed feed eliminates the Linase enzyme so that it can be fed directly to stock. Micronization also enhances feed value and palatability. Our linseed feed is available in both 3Kg and 25Kg bags.
We supply a range of 'floating' extruded feeds for marine ducks and flamingos. They are fully balanced and vitaminised to provide good growth, feathering and breeding performance. Feeds within the range include Extruded Ibis Diet, which contains a range of poultry and marine proteins to mimic the natural diet of invertibrates, Marine Duck, which uses high levels of fish meal and shrimp as a replacement for the natural diet of molluscs, crustaceans and crabs, Flamingo Breeder, which contains high levels of protein, vitamins and minerals, and Flamingo Maintenance, a balanced follow on ration for continued, growth, health and condition.
Our water fowl feeds can be fed to all indigenous species of 'dabbling' ducks. High Flier Wild Bird Food: A carefully selected blend of sunflower seeds and hearts, chopped nuts, cleaned and cut cereals, red and white dari, millet, coriander, peanuts, hemp, soya oil, and linseed.
No Waste Wild Bird Food: This mix is similar to the High Flier feed but sunflower seeds are de-hulled so as not to leave a mess. Cereals are also chopped to discourage germination.

Despite having many things in common with sheep and cattle, goats actually exhibit significant differences in grazing habitats, physical activities, water requirements, milk composition, metabolic disorders and parasites. The nutrient requirement of a goat therefore needs to be treated differently. Feeds supplied by Charnwood have been designed to address the specific dietary requirements of goat breeds. They include:

Charnwood has been involved in the manufacture of bespoke ground baits for several years now, but last year we went a step further by introducing our very own fish bait brand, Fatal Attraction™. Taking advice from a number of dedicated anglers and testing many combinations of ingredients, we came up with a pellet that combined all the necessary amino acids, oils and proteins to attract fish on a consistent basis. Fatal Attraction™ pellets are designed to break slowly and to give off a natural red “mist” that spreads gradually to attract other fish in the area. So far they have been extremely successful – many of the anglers who have tried our product have been so impressed that they sent us photos and feedback, which can be seen on the Charnwood website.

Charnwood supply a range of nutritional and highly-palatable chinchilla feeds. We offer pellets suitable for breeding and active chinchillas in addition to our lower protein ration for the maintenance of more mature animals. All feeds contain an adequate supply of proteins, oils, fibres, and ash required for a healthy diet.
We also offer a specialised chinchilla dust that is designed to help your animal maintain a bright and healthy coat. The dust helps to remove old fur that can become an irritant and aids in the chinchillas essential wellbeing.
