Clinical Chemistry

Urease HP Test

Our Urease HP test can be used to detect the urease enzyme of Helicobacter pylori present within gastric mucosal biopsies. The actual test consists of a twin well cartridge that contains urea, phenol red and buffer salts when reconstituted, as well as a buffer. Some of the benefits of the Urease HP test is that it is simple, quick, low cost, high value and extremely accurate. Studies have shown that the test has a specificity of 98% and a sensitivity of 93% so customers are guaranteed an extremely efficient result.
