Rugged enough to withstand the harshest of industrial environments, BEPC’s programmable incremental encoders have been designed with flexibility in mind and offer the ability for specific application programming to suit your individual requirements. These advanced devices promote cost savings through the consolidation of parts to a single encoder, and feature 6 output types with a choice of 32 different waveforms. We also offer the option of providing these to you pre configured and pre programmed, saving time with onsite programming. Two models are available with options of flange mount, three point flex, block and pin flex mount, tether arm (FG) and tether arm (FJ).
BEPC are pleased to offer a large selection of incremental thru-bore and motor-mount encoders to meet the varying requirements of the diverse range of applications they are required for, where information is needed for the positioning of a rotating shaft. The difference between thru-bore and motor-mount design encoders relates to how they attach, the thru-bore variety being mounted directly to the rotating shaft via a flexible tether, where as motor-mount models sit within a housing that attaches to the NEMA frame motor via a hollow-bore encoder.
With an enviable selection of form factors and output types, BEPC is well equipped to cater to the varying needs of industries where incremental shaft encoders are required. With models designed to cope with harsh industrial environments as well as those suited to fine instrument control, we have it covered. Please see our website for our full catalogue of instrumental shaft encoders, which comprise of a range of sizes, mount styles, profiles and housing choices.
If you are looking to obtain linear measurements for your application, take a look at BEPC’s linear solutions, which consist of a rotary encoder that has been enhanced with either a measuring wheel, gear or cable-draw assembly. Our linear measurement solutions have been designed with speedy installation in mind and enable accurate linear displacement or measurement data to be recorded. These encoders are particularly popular for use in applications such as cut to length, length measurement, print registration and spooling.
BEPC offers a range of both single-turn and multi-turn absolute thru-bore and multi-mount encoders. This range of encoders is available in several different sizes and configurations and is designed to generate unique data codes (bits) for every increment of shaft rotation. Our multi-turn models have the benefit of storing important data securely until you need it, even in instances of power failure. We offer a range of different mount options, all of which are detailed on our website.

BEPC has designed a range of encoders fabricated from stainless steel to meet the demands of applications where extra protection is required from corrosives, moisture or pressures which may have a negative effect on the accuracy of data collected within the encoder. The housings within this range are manufactured from 316 stainless steel and are designed to work efficiently with loads up to 36kg axial/radial and IP67 sealing.
Cost effective, compact and reliable, our range of encoder modules feature a magnetic target instead of bearings and with no contact this makes them particularly suited to applications in environments where dust, dirt or liquids would typically pose a problem. BEPC produces two models of encoder modules: Model 30M and Model 30MT, the latter being a threaded Module. Both have a large air gap leading to a high tolerance to misalignment, and both are available with optional sealing of up to IP69K.
Here at BEPC we understand the impact that machine downtime can have on your business and as such we are pleased to offer a selection of our most requested encoders available on fast delivery. To ensure reliability and quality, only Accu-Coder branded encoders feature in our Fast Delivery range allowing you peace of mind. Models in this range include:
For applications that are subject to the harsh environments of some factories and plants, we recommend EtherCAT-ready absolute encoders. There are two models available; the hollow bore A58HE and the shaft unit A58SE, both of which consist of a 58mm package and both offering an excellent solution for applications with Ethernet based connectivity requirements.
Our selection of encoders is complemented by a wide range of accessories, designed for you to make the most out of your encoders. Our website contains comprehensive details of each of the items available, which includes:
Our website features a run down of encoder applications by function, allowing you to better select which encoders are the most suitable for the demands of your particular project. Advice and product recommendations are given for functions including: backstop gauging, conveying, ball-screw positioning, spooling (level wind), motor feedback, cut-to-length, linear measurement and motor feedback.
The British Encoder Products Company supports a diverse range of industries with the encoders needed to improve operations and processes. Some of the industries we supply our encoders to include: Aerospace, Converting, Food and Beverage, Materials Handling, Metal Forming and Fabrication, Mobile Equipment, Packaging, Printing, Textiles and Timber Products. Our experience across these industries enables us to share our knowledge and offer recommendations for the most suitable encoders for your individual requirements.
