The British Bottlers’ Institute was founded in 1953 with the aim of supporting those involved in the bottling, canning and packaging of products, such as beverages and others. We at the Institute appreciate the importance of giving our members a means of sharing their thoughts and views whilst benefiting from both the experience and expertise of others. Members contribute to discussions on all aspects of the bottling and packaging industry, including issues pertaining to plant, equipment, containers, closures, labels and a variety of other topics relevant to the industry. We are pleased to provide the forum that enables members to share useful information and benefit from each others’ knowledge.
We achieve this aim in a variety of ways including sponsoring and organising competitions, conferences, seminars and meetings and visits. A highlight of the year is the annual gala dinner at which members can get together in a convivial atmosphere and reap the benefits of networking. Working as a non-profit organisation, we have provided members for a great many years with a beneficial forum for the sharing of information and a way to take part in the furthering of the aims of the Institute. We will remain instrumental in providing a vital support to the entire industry.
