Sign Design

At ASG (Essex) Ltd we have a team of technical designers who are experts in their field. Using the latest design software from Autodesk and Adobe out designers can turn detailed conceptual proposals in 2D and 3D visuals which can then be presented to our clients for approval or changes. We will also send client approved technical design drawings to local authority planning departments for approval. Once approval has been granted we will then use the latest industry software to create production ready digital artwork to proceed to the manufacturing stage.

Woodtex

Wood is one of the most flexible materials used in signage solutions and can give either a contemporary or traditional feel. One of the main issues with wood is that it can fade and distort over time. ASG solves this problem with a range of textured aluminium extrusions that replicate wood with the benefit of high resistance. Woodtex solves the issues of fading and aging wood while giving the feel and look of a number of wood varieties and textures.

Woodtex can be used for a number of applications such as signage, entrance statements, cladding and architectural screens, to name just a few. The polyurethane base used in Woodtex gives a minimum life expectancy of 10 to 15 years on external applications.

Digital Print

Over the years ASG (Essex) Ltd has invested heavily in our digital print department as we understood its importance to the future of the signage industry. We use the latest Adobe Creative Suite on Mac and PC platforms to create our artwork files that are then sent to our Graphics Department for printing. We have the experienced staff and equipment to print on almost any surface including vinyl, acrylic, foamex, paper and honeycomb board, to name just a few. Our digital printing permits razor sharp images and photographic quality printing using the latest six colour printing technology.

Signport

Signport is our innovative on-site reporting system that enables rapid capture and processing of information such as installation reports. The downloaded information is then available to our clients via our password protected website. Our clients can then easily and instantly view information as it is updated ensuring they are constantly in the loop over the progress of their order. Features of our Signport system include downloadable installation reports in PDF format as well as downloadable photographs and the capabilities for customer sign-off signatures. Information can be easily downloaded to desktops, tablets and other mobile devices such as smartphones.

Neu Sign Design

ASG (Essex) Ltd offer a NEU Sign Design consultancy to collaborate with a client’s own design agency in order to take a branding concept to production via our four step process. ASG use design visuals and 3D simulation to allow clients to view true-life representations of how their signage will look. This also allows designs changes to be made quickly before production begins. Our interactive presentations are available online to our clients for review and once approved we can produce full technical CAD drawings before the manufacturing process begins. We understand that brand consistency is vital and our custom built, secure website will hold information and designs available to regional stake-holders throughout the signage design and manufacturing process.

Manufacturing and Extrusions

ASG (Essex) Ltd boasts over 36,000 sq ft of manufacturing premises as well as highly qualified production staff with expert knowledge in the signage industry. We employ staff skilled in the traditional methods of signmaking to complement and enhance our modern methods. We continually invest in the latest materials to provide a wider choice to our clients. We have experience in high volume/short lead time projects and use a dedicated manufacturing team and staff to ensure these projects are fulfilled on time, every time. Our range of manufacturing services includes digital print, extrusion and metal work, paint finishing, vinyl application, lighting and assembly.

Installation

We offer a full installation process as part of our signage service and our team have the relevant qualifications and experience to ensure a professional end result. We use the same installation crew throughout the installation process to ensure a consistent service and familiarity with onsite contractors. Our installation team is employed directly through our company and are located throughout the UK in order to have easy access regardless of location. Our signage products are delivered by our logistics team to our installation crew who will then liaise with the installation management team and the project manager to ensure an efficient signage process.

Project Management

Our project management team is an integral part of our signage solution process and we have a pool of managers who specialise in specific industries such as retail or automotive. A dedicated, experienced manager means our clients are ensured of the best fit for their purposes. Having a dedicated manager also means our clients can be assured of consistent communication throughout the project to ensure that all client requirements are fully met. Our project management team will assess the overall project requirements, organise surveys and quotes, organise the sourcing and manufacturing process, and identify any problems before they happen. Our managers will also oversee installation and the final sign off and invoicing of clients.
