Angloplas

Angloplas are a specialist plastics manufacturer based in Tollesbury, Essex. For over 15 years we have been supplying our products to a wide range of markets that include, pharmaceutical, automotive, marine and many others.

We have a dedicated range of dispensers for the healthcare sector and we exclusively produce the world’s first proven Antimicrobial PVC with BioCote ® silver ion technology, which stops the growth of bacteria and reduces the risk of cross infection and will work for the lifespan of the product.

Our customers come to us from a range of sectors that include the NHS, private hospitals, care homes, dental surgeries as well as universities, schools and even specialist luxury yacht builders.

Part of our service includes design and manufacturing for either individual one off products or a larger production run that can also include plastic fabrication and we are always happy to discuss your project’s requirements with you.

Products can be ordered from our website using our online shopping service or for NHS and account customers we will also accept orders via email or fax.

Hospital, Health and Hygiene

Angloplas stocks a large variety of dispensers that can be used for a wide range of applications in the medical industry. Dispensers are a useful way of organising and tidying up your workspace and glove boxes and glove and apron dispensers are a good way of storing items that would otherwise clog up valuable worktop areas. Dispensers, such as our sterilisation pouch dispensers and our scrub dispensers also provide a hygienic way to house items that need to be kept free of germs and bacteria.

Automotive

Angloplas can produce both moulded and fabricated parts that are suitable for use in the automotive industry and we have worked closely with two local car manufacturers DARE and Piper in this area. For DARE, we worked on the Ginetta G4 in both yellow and Paris blue metallic colours. In each colourway, we manufactured both the rear and side widows in acrylic. For Piper, we worked on the GTR and produced the windscreen for track car and side and rear windows in polycarbonate, as well as the headlight covers, the rear engine cover and the moulds for headlamp mounting structure. Additionally we worked on the windscreen template/former so that Pilkington Glass could put the road car windscreen into production.

Aquariums and Tanks

Angloplas range of bespoke aquariums are made from high quality cast acrylic with a 100% water tight seal. For medical and acoustic testing equipment we have acrylic scanning tanks. We have many years of experience in this area and ensure that our products are thoroughly tested before we despatch them to our customers. We manufacture our tanks from acrylic rather than glass as acrylic is lighter, stronger and a better insulator, additionally it allows nearly double the amount of light through making the aquarium much brighter. We shape or form the acrylic using an oven and can create a variety of shapes including the ever popular bow fronted design.

Bespoke Plastic Fabrication

At Angloplas we are able to work with you on a project right from the early stages of design. As we are a specialist plastic fabricators and can construct plastic in any form. Our professional, friendly service guarantees that all projects will be finished on time and within budget. We use a selection of top of the range plant equipment to complete your job, such as CNC routers in sizes up to 2440 x 1220 mm and Diamond Edge Polishers with up to 35 mm width capacity. We are always happy to discuss any specific requirements with you.

Retail and Point of Sale Display

As part of our bespoke service, we can offer our customers unique and eye catching point of sale displays. We can bring just about any design to life and can create just a one-off, standalone piece for an independent retailer or a large production run for well-known chain stores. We are always happy to discuss your ideas no matter how weird or wonderful they might seem and we can nearly always come up with an effective design solution.

Machine Guards

Made from durable and long lasting Polycarbonate or PETG, Angloplas manufacture machine guards that follow your exact design requirements or templates, we can also use acrylic for some applications. In the past we have fitted a new polycarbonate guarding system to a classic Heidelberg Cylinder Printing machine in order to convert it into a die-cutter. We have also installed new rear backguage guards made from PETG to a paper cutting guillotine. Marine Products and Services

As we are situated near the mouth of the Blackwater River and only 9 miles east of the historic Maldon port, it was only natural that Angloplas should carve out a niche in the marine industry. We manufacture bespoke products and other parts for our customers in the industry and these can include everyday items such as windows, windscreens and sprayscreens to more unique and specialised luxury fittings such as acrylic glass holders and wine racks that need to be tailored to fit a certain type of decor or colour scheme.

Signage, Vehicle and Boat Livery/Graphics

Another area of expertise for Angloplas is our production of signs, vehicle and boat livery/graphics. We have a selection of high quality materials that we use in conjunction with our computer controlled equipment to provide a complete, bespoke sign and vehicle livery solution for your company. We can also produce similar livery/graphics for our marine clients. We can create both computer cut vinyl lettering signs as well as computer cut solid plastic lettering depending on the requirements of the job.
