Pressings

Having a number of hydraulic presses at our disposal means we can offer an outstanding service for anyone requiring high quality, low cost pressed components. We also have facilities for blanking, piercing, forming and drawing, which means your components can be supplied ready for assembly. Alt Engineering are able to undertake high volume production runs using single operation, progression or transfer tooling which is manufactured in-house. MIG, TIG and Spot Welding

Complementing our presswork facility is a dedicated welding section where we are able to weld a range of materials (including aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel) using MIG, TIG and spot welding techniques. We have a team of expert welders who between them have many years of metal fabrication experience and who are able to achieve an excellent finish every time. Finishing

Once your components have been pressed and welded (where applicable) they can be finished to your requirements using a range of different techniques and procedures. Our facilities enable us to carry out a range of finishing tasks, including:

• Ball burnishing
• Vibratory barrel de-burring
• Linishing

After your components have been finished they will be ready for assembly. 

Assembly

Alt Engineering can also carry out assembly and packaging work, which means we can offer a full service solution from design right through to distribution. All assembly work is undertaken by experienced staff using the very latest equipment. 

As well as offering a bespoke assembly service, Alt Engineering can supply a range of standard assemblies which are ready for immediate dispatch. They include stainless steel angle brackets for the furniture industry, brackets and fittings for the lighting industry, industrial doors and various fabrications for the bird control sector. Tokens

One of the areas in which we specialise is the production of machine tokens. We have been supplying these to fun parks, amusement arcades, cruise ship companies, car washes and vending companies for a number of years now. Bird Control Products

We offer a variety of bird control products which have been designed with quality and reliability in mind. It's worth noting that we manufacture a range of brackets which are suitable for use with wiring and netting, including both flat and apex roof arrangements.
