SITE SURVEYS AND MATERIAL SPECIFICATION

Providing full site surveys, practical building design advice, a written specification of proposed work, realistic estimates, planning assistance, CAD elevation drawings, OS Map, block plan and tender management services.

Supplying a written specification to Contractors, to retrieve like-for-like quotations, assess suitability of quotes and reduce the risk of a poor Client / Contractor experience.

STRUCTURAL STEEL DESIGN AND CALCULATIONS

Structural design of Portal frames, mezzanine floors, steel staircases and multi storey buildings. Complete structural calculations report, including all steel sections, structural connections, weld spec, bracing and foundation designs.

Fast turnaround of structural calculations service for standard frame analysis. Structural designs to comply with CE Marking requirements.

Includes in-depth design analysis of concrete floors, retaining walls, bespoke frames, existing structures and floor beams. 

COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN & STEEL FABRICATION DRAWINGS

Providing detailed steel fabrication drawings, including separate member and parts details, associated bolts list, cold rolled section take off, NC/DXF files and general arrangement drawings.

Portal frames, mezzanine floors, steel staircases and multi storey buildings.

Also providing cladding layout, flashings and accessory drawings, with fixings lists.

PROJECT PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

Operating alongside surveyors, architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, landlords, estates managers, local authorities, education authorities, steel contractors, steel fabricators, cladding specialists and private enterprises.

Overseeing construction work, attending contract meetings, providing design expertise and offering practical cost-effective solutions, writing schedule of work and health & safety plans.

HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGEMENT / CDM

Construction Design Management (CDM) services, Building Control applications, Pre-tender and Construction phase Health & Safety documentation, Contractor Approval service and Project Management.

Survey of workshop premises and improvement recommendation reports. Assistance with achieving CE Marking and ISO 9001 accreditation. 

DILAPIDATION’S REPORT / REPAIRS

Dilapidation report, defects analysis, planned and preventative maintenance advice, insurance assessments, project management of repairs and renewals for aged cladding and rainwater goods.

Practical, safe and cost effective solutions provided, sometimes working alongside existing workforce and keeping daily disruption to a minimum.

Includes asbestos cladding removal and registered off-site disposal.
