Description

Making Every Contact Count (MECC) is an approach to behaviour change that utilises the many day to day interactions that organisations and people have with other people to encourage changes in behaviour that have a positive effect on their health and wellbeing.

Health Education England (HEE) are looking for a supplier to tender for the delivery of this vision by delivering the following outputs:

• Design and deliver an innovative product(s) to promote a sustainable approach to MECC in mental health settings which

o is targeted at multiple levels of an organisation including Board level leaders

o aims to embed MECC approaches as part of an organisation's values and culture

o outlines the benefits of upskilling staff to deliver MECC interventions

o demonstrates the role of behavioural and social sciences in achieving behaviour change

o highlights the availability of the national MECC resources available from https://www.makingeverycontactcount.co.uk/national-resources/

• Develop and recommend an effective communication strategy for HEE to share the work completed

• Produce a slide set outlining the project aims and objectives and demonstrating the outputs. The aim of the slide set will be promotional.
