During September 2019 Doncaster Borough Council will be advertising a new opportunity and will welcome proposals to provide a solution that will Automate Business Reception at the Civic Office.

The Civic Office Business Reception manages the flow of 550 to 600 guests per week that arrive for meetings, while contractors arrive on a daily basis.

The council requires a solution that includes the appropriate hardware and software that will allow an automated business reception to be implemented at the Civic Office in Doncaster. We do not expect the solution to manage

access to our doors within the Civic Office.

It is expected this will include:

• Provision of hardware and software with associated services for support.

• The Council expects the solution will manage visitors arriving to reception allowing them to log their arrival, departure and ensure that staff are aware their guest has arrived.

• Hardware that incorporates the capabilities of touch screen kiosk functionality while being able to print out fully functional id badges that clearly identify the guest to the building.

• The solution should be automated and require minimal human interaction and management.

This will be an open opportunity at a maximum cost of £25,000 for a contract period of three years, it is expected the contract award will be by the end of October 2019
