Description

Penrith Town Council is seeking a qualified and reputable play company to design, supply and install an extension to the children's play area at Fairhill Playing Field, Penrith, Cumbria.

The location of the site is Fairhill Playing Field, Salkeld Road, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 8RA.

The aim is to decide on a preferred supplier and to place an order in December 2019, for an installation in the spring of 2020.

This project requires the supply and installation of new children's play equipment including play area surfacing. An existing fenced play area enclosure can be extended to accommodate the additional play items. The existing items of play equipment, including the surfacing, are to be retained however Contractors are permitted to remove the flat swings and accompanying surfacing and relocate within their new design layout which is a preference for the Council.

The principal focus of the new play equipment is inclusivity and providing play items for the 6 to 12-year-old age group.
