Block Bottom Bag

Included in our comprehensive range of PP bags are conventional block bottom bags. These are ideal for if your bag needs to stand on its base rather than from a hanger. Block bottom bags have a tucked and sealed base allowing the filled and seal pack to stand alone. Header Bags

Westflex Ltd is pleased to present the TAGBAG range of header bags which are the ideal solution for presenting products on a hanging display. Made entirely from polypropylene, the reinforced header makes them perfect for small, light and/or flat products. The TAGBAG header bag can be manufactured from OPP film 30-40my, Cast PP film 40-120my, or OPP/CastPP laminated with sandwich printing between the two layers of film in order to prevent ink from coming into contact with the product. The header itself can be standard white opaque or fully transparent, and is produced in OPP film 80-135my. A full length inlay or thicker quality film can be used if specially requested. We also supply TAGBAGS with or without a lip and a resealable or permanent self-seal strip. They may also be gusset bottomed and come complete with a punch for Euroholes or ventilation holes. TAGBAGs can be printed in up to 8 colours (flexo or gravure) with a thermal transfer print of logos, EAN-codes etc. To find out more about our header bags, please visit the Westflex website.

Shrink Sleeves

We offer a range of top-quality, custom-made shrink sleeves which are used primarily as tamper evident seals for containers and as decoration/information labels on cans and bottles. With a strong mono-axial shrink, they offer excellent product protection and presentation, and since they can be custom made, cut and collated, Westflex's shrink sleeves are tailored for your application. Produced from PET or PVC, our shrink sleeves come in thicknesses varying from 40 to 70my. They can be supplied on a reel with tear-strips and/or perforations, and can be printed in 8 different colours using flexo, gravure or digital processes.

Cello Bags

Westflex supplies a huge range of cellophane bags which can be used for packaging and presenting a wide variety of products. Cello bags may be produced from transparent biaxial oriented polypropylene film (OPP) or non-oriented polypropylene film (CastPP). 2lip Bags

These polypropylene bags feature an integral header section and are designed for both top and bottom filling. Format options include punch holes for hanging/ventilation, thermal transfer printing (for barcodes, corporate logos etc), hot stamp printing (green point or recycling logos) and multi-colour printing (maximum of eight colours, flexographic or rotogravure). Self sealing (resealable or permanent) tape may also be added. Material options include;

• OPP film, 30-50 micron
• OPP coextruded film, 30-50 micron
• CPP film, 30-100 micron
• Laminates

Envelope Bags

These strong, transparent CPP envelopes are used primarily for postal applications. Envelope bags may have squared, angled/bevelled flaps (open or closed), depending on preference. Self sealing tapes (resealable or permanent) are also available. Envelope bag format options include thermal transfer printing, hot stamp printing and multi-colour printing (maximum of eight colours, flexographic or rotogravure). BioPLAx Packaging

Westflex offers a complete range of products manufactured using environmentally friendly BioPLAx PLA films. These materials are 100% compostable and are produced from renewable and sustainable vegetable-based materials such as maize and sugar cane. BioPLAx complies with European composting standard EH13432, as well as the US equivalent, ASTM D6400. Westflex is also now able to offer its Flowrap and Block Bottom style bags in Natureflex, a fully compostable and bio-degradable regenerated cellulose film.

Greeting card/Wallet bags

Westflex supplies a range of high-quality and cost-effective Greeting Card and Wallet Bags. Format options include; Symmetric or asymmetric pocket sizes, punch holes for hanging or ventilation, thermal transfer print, hot stamp print and multi colour print. Material options include; OPP film, OPP coextruded film, CPP film and laminates.
