Products

Installing LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting in your industrial or commercial premises could save you a fortune as well as significantly contributing towards the environment. At UKLED Limited, we design and make a full selection of LED lights and related products, all as part of a coherent long-term strategy of maximising energy efficiency at truly competitive prices. Our main centres are in the West Midlands and Wales (although we also have operation facilities in the Wirral). We’re not simply manufacturers - we supply and install our lamps onsite, using the fittings which are already there. No need to rewire the whole place on our account!

When you give us your brief, we’ll firstly produce a complete audit showing the status, costs and issues of your current lighting system, and then give detailed recommendations as to the appropriate LED package for your particular requirements. This will explain the specific advantages and savings to you of switching to LED lamps. UKLED’s team of electricians will do the relamping on your behalf, so you don’t have to organise a thing! We’re endorsed by the Carbon Trust as responsible traders in energy-efficient products, so you can be assured we’ll provide the right type of eco-friendly lamps and tubes for your business needs.

Commercial Re-lamping

At UKLED, we can fully overhaul the existing lighting in your office, warehouse or facility space from scratch. Known as ‘re-lamping’, this substitution of your current tubes and lights will help lower your maintenance and energy expenses while simultaneously shrinking your carbon footprint. We use our own specially designed high-spec lamps, from which you’ll be able to select (under our expert guidance) the most suitable lighting options. Our clients have included local government organisations as well as companies from the industrial and business sectors. Check out our website to see the great job we did for the Best Western Cross Lanes Hotel in Wrexham!

Cone Lamps

Cone lamps are an astonishingly versatile form of lighting, which can used in situations ranging from street illumination and floodlighting to high-bay and low-bay contexts. We carry cone lamps operating at five different levels of power consumption (15, 20, 40, 60 and 80W), all in a tasteful cool white shade. Their CRI is all greater than 75, while their effective lumens vary between 2,320 and 12,000 according to model. Functional temperatures are uniformly in the 6000–6500K range, and with typical life expectancies of 50,000 hours, our cone lamps represent an exceptional long-term investment.

Floodlights

If you’re looking to replace your floodlights, then UKLED have a blinding selection! Our R7s are an eco-friendly and high-spec substitute for halogen R7s lights. They come in a choice of warm, natural or cool white and have beam angles of 200°. Our Eco Flood Lamps are excellent generic floodlights, available in cool white and operating between temperatures of 20°C and 40°. The UKLED Flood Lamps (in 20, 50 and 100W models) can be used instead of floodlights and high-bay lights, and have average rated lives of 50,000 hours. They are fitted with UNIT caps and have UKLED three-year warranties.

Lamps

At UKLED, we have a good choice of lamps for general and everyday applications. The PL, HB PL and 360 PL° Lamps offer raised levels of brightness and are legitimate counterparts to plug-in fluorescent lights. You might consider them for your bulkhead fittings and for downlighters. Choose the PL 2G11 for fluorescent types with 2G11 caps, while our replacement Golf Ball Lamp is equivalent to golf ball lamps in the 35 to 60W range. We also have energy-saving versions of GLS, candle, AR111 and 2D lamps. You should be aware some models require removal or bypassing of the ballast and starter before fitting.

LED Tubes

Halophosphate lamps were the most commonly used type of fluorescent lighting before issues of colour distortion led to their general replacement by Triphosphor lights. Now both types have been superseded by this extensive range of long-lasting retro-fit tubes, which are perfect proxies for halophosphates and T8 Triphosphors. Whether you choose from warm, cool or natural white, all these LED tubes produce remarkable levels of brightness and render colour superbly. Should you purchase any of them, do bear in mind that you’ll need to bypass or take out the ballast and starting mechanism before you can install the tube.

Lowbay Lighting

Lowbay lighting is most commonly found in buildings used for industrial purposes (such as warehouses, factories and workshops) and in large supermarkets. It is a reliable general lighting source, and the 4FT and 5FT T5K lamps represent the gems of the UKLED lowbay collection. They are available in warm, cool or natural white and all possess beam angles of 120 °. Consumption of power across the different models spans between 68 and 168W, and their effective lumens goes from 10,150 for the T5K 68W to 25,955 for the T5K 168W. Whatever the size or layout of your workplace, there’s a lowbay lamp for you here!

Panels

UKLED’s stylish panel lamps are offered in two main shapes. Our Round Panel Lamps are designed to be used in ceilings and come with full fittings. Should you wish to replace one of your existing PL lamps, they’re the perfect choice. Beam angled at 105°, their initial lumens vary between 282 and 715, while their power supply is from 100 to 240V. If you need something that’s a bit more in the T8 tube and fluorescent panel department, we supply rectangular retro-fit Panel Lamps in a number of different dimensions. Fully guaranteed for either three or five years, they’ll look great in your office!

Spotlights

Here’s a radiant selection of high-specification lamps that really hit the spot! The GU10s can be used as a straight swap for traditional halogen GU10 lights (regardless whether or not the latter are set up for dimming) and are frequently installed in downlighters. Similarly with our M16s, which are equivalent to halogen MR16s, and come in 6, 12 or 18W variants. The PAR retro-fit series produce beams of light just as intense as the halogen PAR lamps they are replacing. Visitors to your premises will certainly feel like they’re in the spotlight once you’ve upgraded to these classy lamps!

Street Lamps

Are your premises on such a scale that you need to keep your exterior walkways and transport routes lit at night or during dark conditions? The UKLED streetlamp selection can provide the necessary illumination far more effectively than any non-energy saving street lights you already have. Wattages of 60, 120 or 180W are available, while power supply is in the range 85–260 AC for all three types. You have the option of natural and cool shades of white to complement your external colour scheme.  Practical and durable, these high-specification lamps will be right up your street!
