Drive Control Systems

To meet the demands of customers across a wide spectrum or manufacturing and process industries, Transicon provides fully integrated electrical drive control systems; all built to individual customer requirements or specifications. Typical applications for Transicon control systems include material slitting, cutting to length and multi-blanking processes, uncoiling/recoiling, rolling and coating processes, ferrous and non-ferrous sheet, strip, bar and tube processing and also marine systems applications including sea bed cable laying equipment. Drive control systems can also be used in press feed lines, environmental waste and biomass energy conversion, the printing and reprographics industry, test rigs, brick manufacture, quarrying and much more!

PLC & SCADA Software Programming

Based on many years’ experience of programming PLCs from the leading hardware manufacturers, our proven software engineering service ensures our customers’ widest application requirements are met. Our SCADA software is used across an increasingly wide range of industry sectors and allows processes to be monitored very accurately, critical data to be stored and process variables to be adjusted and monitored from a remote source. Additionally, for fast and trouble-free on-site commissioning, in-house developed PLC emulation software enables factory acceptance tests to be undertaken on all software prior to installation. We also frequently achieve significant energy cost savings by increasing the efficiency of customer’s operational processes.

Motor Control Centres

To meet the most diverse and demanding of industrial applications, our extensive equipment range is designed and built to exacting standards with all installations incorporating proven, state-of-the-art components for an assured level of low maintenance, reduced lifetime costs and trouble-free operation. Installation & Commissioning

With an installation department that has a long and successful history in installing power, control, instrumentation and data networks, you’ll find that the work we carry out is of the highest quality and based on years of experience and expertise; all fully compliant to BS7671. Transicon can offer a turnkey solution from in-house design through to installation, testing and commissioning. If required, we can also carry out a risk assessment, producing a method statement to the client’s exact specification.
