Scandinavian Log Cabins Direct Ltd are agents for the sale of log cabins & houses manufactured by Jörnträ AB of Sweden.
Jörnträ have been manufacturing timber buildings in the north of Sweden since the 1950´s when the company started to design & build beautifully crafted log cabins built to the highest construction standards using only locally sourced materials. Initially making garden sheds, storehouses, garages and small log cabins for use as summer cottages, word quickly spread of their quality and a number of houses were successfully commissioned such that their range now extends up to complete 137 m2 bungalows. As with the cabins, each bungalow is individually packed into kits containing all the necessary parts and instructions and is ideal for self-builders.
Their attention to detail has led to Jörnträ becoming one of the largest manufacturers of log cabins in Europe, with their own sawmill, kilns and CAD/CAM facility to ensure highest quality standards are maintained throughout. So much so that almost all of their early cabins are still standing after over 50 years of Scandinavian winters.
