Glassrail is an elegant, structural glass balustrade system that needs no vertical metal or wooden balusters. A handrail is connected to the stair or floor by a toughened glass panel which is 12mm, 15mm, 19mm or 25mm thick. When you need a clear view through the balustrade, whether on a staircase or balcony, Glassrail is the perfect solution. Whether you need it fitting externally or internally, this system is ideal for all applications. We can even sandblast glass or etch it with logos if required. Glass panels are fixed in place using either mild steel clamping plates, stainless steel profiled clamping plates, stainless steel clamping discs or aluminium channel section.
Stronghold is a stylish balustrade and handrail system made from 304 or 316 grade stainless steel, with fewer visible joins than comparable systems. It is suitable for internal and external applications, including staircases, atriums, walkways, balconies and main entrances. If you specifically need an installation that has sharp, clearly defined lines and low maintenance requirements, Stronghold is perfect. The handrail can be either 50mm or 42mm diameter, while balusters are 50mm in diameter. The Stronghold system also accommodates various infill panel options, including toughened glass (which may be clear, tinted or etched), perforated sheet, mid rails or stainless steel wire. Once the Stronghold system is installed, it requires little maintenance, making it a cost-effective option.
Suitable for internal and external applications, Stargard is a balustrade and handrail solution for schools, offices, public buildings, sheltered housing, and access for the less able (DDA compliant). Handrails are tubular, reinforced steel that is sleeved by 4mm thick PVC. Either 42mm or 50mm in total diameter, the Stargard handrail is designed to have one mechanical site joint per flight of stairs. Stargard baluster posts are of the exact same design as the handrails, while fittings such as glass brackets, wall brackets and baluster tops are polished stainless steel.
Our AL 50 system is designed so that balusters may be placed up to 2 meters apart thanks to 'thick wall' balusters which can cope with large loads. That's why AL 50 is suitable for balconies, viewing areas and staircases. Because of an anti-microbial powder coating, this system is suitable for applications where hygiene is imperative, such as medical centres, surgeries, retirement/care homes and other similar applications. Handrails and balusters are formed from aluminium extrusions, offering a smooth surface finish.
Our fantastic Sentinel range primarily features stainless steel systems that can be completed with a range of handrail and infill panel options to suit specific requirements. Handrails are supplied as either 42mm or 48mm in diameter in stainless steel, PVC sleeved (Stargard), timber (coppice), brass (citadel), or can even incorporate LED lights (radiance). All balusters are 48mm in diameter. Our range of infill panels include glass, perforated metal sheet, stainless steel or powder coated mid/ running rails, stainless steel wire, or panels can be created to meet individual requirements. The Citadel range creates luxurious handrail systems suitable for all kinds if interiors. These brass handrails are supplied in 38mm or 50mm diameters and can feature a bright or satin polish with a clear lacquer to prevent regular polishing. All balusters are 50mm in diameter and infill panels are available in glass, stainless steel or powder coated mid/ running rails, stainless steel wire, or panels can be created to meet customer requirements.
