The design, manufacture, and repair of Automatic Voltage Regulators are our speciality. For the past 15 years, we have been manufacturing AVRs to replace obsolete units or for special applications. We provide expert technical advice & assistance on AVRs and generators. We usually stock about 100 units available for same-day dispatch, and our lead times are short for custom-built units. Our stock changes daily, so please check with us if you do not see the unit you require on our website. In addition to our Roper AVRs, we also stock off-the-shelf models from other manufacturers: Newage/Martin Contrology Basler Leroy Somer Mecc-Alte Marelli/Ansaldo We carry other generator-related spare parts in stock, such as rotating diodes, paralleling C/Ts, and Volts Trim Potentiometers. We can repair most third-party AVRs and we provide a service exchange facility with some models.

Roper AVR

Whatever your AVRs needs, our Roper AVRs can fulfill them. Our range of AVRs and other voltage regulators covers units for small generators up to 11Kv high-tension machines. Design choices include transistor pulse and thyristor phase control, and available accessories include diode failure generators and power factor controllers. We also have DC generator AVRs.

Static Exciters

Our product range includes static exciters having excitation currents in excess of 100 amps. Static exciters can provide better output control and potentially require less maintenance then conventional rotating exciters.
