PORTA-GANTRY
Our PORTA-GANTRY lifting systems can safely lift weights of up to 5000kg. This award-winning system is widely used in organisations across the world that recognizes its ability to lift weights easily and safely. The PORTA-GANTRY is a lightweight model that is easy to assemble. It is manufactured with corrosion-resistant materials and is suitable for ‘clean room’ applications. Its bolted structure, lateral beam and leg bracing features allow complete stability for any lifting challenge and it has simple, manual height and span adjustment features as well as 360degrees swivel-locking castors as standard for easy positioning.

PORTA-DAVIT
Our PORTA-DAVIT range comprises two models: the PORTA-DAVIT 500 and the PORTA-DAVIT 1000. The PORTA-DAVIT 500 is a lightweight, 2-piece crane system with WLL to 500kg. It is manufactured from aluminium and weighs only 24kg which means it is easy for one person to transport and use. The PORTA-DAVIT 1000 is a crane system that lifts a world first weight of 1,000kg. It is the only aluminium davit on the market to do so. Custom made solutions can also be designed to meet specific industry requirements.

PORTA-QUAD
The PORTA-QUAD was specifically designed for moving heavy submersible pumps and was built using REID Lifting’s lightweight aluminium alloy material. There are two models within the range: the PORTA-QUAD 500 and the PORTA-QUAD 1000. These have capabilities of WLL 500kg and WLL 1000kg. These lightweight models are easy for one person to transport and operate safely and efficiently. Overall, the PORTA-QUAD is an efficient and cost-effective piece of equipment. Its four cornered base structure leads it to be more stable than tripod versions that are already in use across the water and waste water treatment sectors.

PORTA-LIFTER
Our PORTA-LIFTER range has been specifically designed to assist workers lifting heavy manhole covers. Our PORTER-LIFTER products have been manufactured with a high tensile alloy and use a hydraulic lift mechanism for the lifting process. These portable and lightweight models comply with Manual Handling Regulations and are suitable for one person to transport and use easily. The units are quick to assemble, are designed to eliminate workforce crush injuries, reduce operator effort during use, and speed up the lifting time of the operation. The REID PORTA-LIFTER ‘SNAPPER’ manhole lifter is designed for manhole covers of weights up to 200kg.

PORTA-BASE
The innovative PORTA-BASE is designed as a socket base for REID’s PORTA-DAVIT 500 systems and offers a host of benefits. The PORTA-BASE has WLL 500kg at a maximum 1000mm radius with WLL 120kg for man-ride and is CE & EN 795 Class B Approved. The PORTA-BASE has adjustable legs to suit uneven surfaces and has anodized legs and yellow powder coat paint on the socket and tie bars for protection. There is no need for a fixed socket installation which in turn eliminates testing costs for sockets. There are four configurations of 90°, 180°, 360° & 270° counterbalanced with up to 1000mm radius.

PORTA-BEAM
The PORTA-BEAM range consists of lightweight, portable and adaptable lifting/spreader beams suitable for lifting weights of up to a huge 10,000kgs. Products within this range are easily adaptable to suit various industry uses. Beams have different configurations with the provision for one or two upper load attachment points and two or more lower attachment points to allow pick up from an overhead crane, PORTA-GANTRY or fixed gantry beam. Our items are corrosion-resistant and come with an anodized finish. Each beam is tested to 150% of WLL prior to shipment. Sockets
Our standard ranges of sockets are manufactured with either galvanized steel or stainless steel and have been designed to complement our various davit mounting systems. They have been designed and extensively tested for use with the PORTA-DAVIT and T-DAVIT ranges that have CE requirements for Declaration of Conformity and Incorporation. Our sockets have been tested and certified to WLL 500kg, however, we also have the capabilities and facilities to custom make sockets to meet individual requests.
