Refuse Derived Fuel

A shortage of electricity is a real possibility. Governments from across the globe are developing policies to save energy and generate power from new sources.

Landfill space is disappearing and new markets for recycled material are more difficult to find. By refining refuse and other high calorific municipal solid wastes (MSW) refuse derived fuel (RDF) capable of generating clean electricity can be produced. 

Recycling

Beverage Cans, paper, plastic bottles, plastic film, cardboard and other mediums including refuse derived fuel and municipal solid waste can be baled by Macpresse. Our versatile machines are fully automatic continuous baling presses where material is constantly fed into the loading hopper. 

Paper mills

The finished bale size from Macpresse is ideal for paper mills. The design of the baler has enabled the optimum size and density to be produced as standard. 

Distribution

Many national retailers enjoy the benefit of operating a Macpresse baler in their warehousing facilities and distribution centres. 

Waste management

All Macpresse fully automatic baling presses are suited for use as part of a Material Recycling Facility (MRF). Working closely with companies who specialise in designing and constructing MRF's,our machines have recently been specified for several prestigious installations in the UK and Ireland.
