ABS pipework is typically used in food processing and water treatment industries, mainly because of its corrosion resistant, non-toxic properties. It conforms to the toxicological requirements of the British Plastic Federation and the British Industrial Biological Research Association Code of Practice for Food Usage. A smooth bore reduces the build up of lime scale for superior flow, and inherent Butadiene adds impact resistance, particularly at low temperatures. ABS products available from Pipestock include pipe fittings, valves, strainers, pipeline and associated accessories. To find out more about ABS, its features, uses and properties, follow the link to the Pipestock website.
Thanks to its corrosion and chemical resistant properties, PVCu Pipework is commonly used for handling acids, alkalis, sewage water, and various chemicals. If you would like to find out exactly which chemicals can be processed using PVCu Pipework, please get in touch with our experts.
