It’s thought that approximately 25% of the storage capacity on farms across England is nearing the end of its feasible use, leaving growers throughout the country in a dilemma as to how to invest scarce resources. Openfield recognises that each crop requires its own tailored nutrition package. We have a specialist FACTS-qualified Farm Business Team that can provide all the advice you need on crop nutrition, spraying applications and the legislative requirements of both.
Our partnership with GrowHow, one of the largest fertiliser manufacturers in Europe, allows us to offer an extensive range of high quality products at realistic prices.
Here at Openfield, we only ever promote seed varieties for which there is an established market appeal. It means growers can be confident that they will not struggle to market their crop. This is further supported by our close relationship with plant breeders, which gives us access to varieties up to three years prior to them receiving HGCA approval. We can then fully evaluate crop needs and assess their end-market potential with our agronomy partner, Agrovista.
