Our potting boxes are designed for the safe and secure encapsulation of various electronics. The handheld blob is a fantastic enclosure designed for use with various user-orientated wireless or cable applications. It is manufactured from ABS to IP54 protection. There are three blob types in the range: UNIT for single handed operation with keypad area and grip, CONTROL held with one hand and operated with the other, a separate keypad, activation and grip areas and PANEL for handheld or desktop use with keypad, activation and two grip areas. Accessories include IP54 sealing kit, cable gland, battery contacts and holders, polarity protection, PCB screws and T10 screwdriver.
OKW now offers an excellent range of top quality industrial enclosures. These enclosures feature an attractive modern design and have been expertly designed and manufactured to safely house electronics equipment or electrical terminals and assemblies.
The range features models in 16 standard sizes featuring a solid or clear lid. They are manufactured from high quality materials enabling them to be highly resistant to impact. They are easy to install with a quick action, stainless steel locking screw and are available with optional hinges and security kit. These units are IP66 and IP67 rated.
We are also pleased to offer our new range of handheld Carrytec enclosures. These ergonomically designed handheld enclosures feature a handle with a soft-touch grip that is located above the centre of gravity. A recessed area in the top section is designed for locating keypads and displays and three inset areas on the underside are in place for fitting connectors, cable glands and switches. The enclosures are moulded in ABS or PA for indoor or outdoor use and are suitable for mounting to suspension arms if required. An optional station is available for desktop use or mounting to a wall, machine housing or vehicle. Our Carrytec enclosures are IP54 rated.
At OKW we supply enclosures that are moulded in a bioplastic material created entirely from renewable raw materials. We use BIOGRADE® C7500 plastic produced by FKuR Kunststoff GmBH which comes from the initial products of cotton or wood. Bioplastics are largely CO2 neutral. After they have been used, materials from the plants release the same amount of CO2 as they had absorbed from the atmosphere during their growth phase. Parts of BIOGRADE® are biodegrable. Once the material has been crushed it is broken down into its non-toxic initial products by micro-organisms.
