Air Freight

Our airfreight department handles shipments on a daily basis, collecting freight from the local area and delivering it to airlines at London Heathrow for that night or next day departures. Access to all the major carriers means we can offer daily flights to all destinations worldwide. 

If required, Ocean International can liaise with local customs authorities in the destination country to speed up clearance upon arrival. We can also arrange for the onward delivery of the consignment. The provision of these additional services means we can offer a comprehensive ‘door-to-door’ shipping solution. 

Sea Freight Exports

We have both the infrastructure and the expertise to handle all types of sea freight cargo. This, together with our general freight forwarding department and ocean consolidation service, allows Ocean International to offer solutions for all your shipping needs.

We offer weekly export consolidation services to all the principal ports of the world, receiving at Southampton, Tilbury, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. 

By working with our GTO partners around the world we can ensure your consignments go right to your customers’ doors. We’ll liaise with the local customs authorities on your behalf and also arrange for delivery of the consignment to its ultimate destination.

Sea Freight Imports

We have many full load and consolidation services arriving weekly into the ports of Southampton and Felixstowe from the Far East, the USA and the Indian sub-continent. At both of these ports Ocean International has full import customs clearance facilities, allowing us to clear your consignments quickly and efficiently as soon as they arrive. Road Freight

Ocean International can arrange for the shipment of groupage and full loads to and from Western and Eastern Europe on a daily to twice weekly basis.  Having an extensive network of contacts throughout Europe means we can offer a complete door-to-door service within EU borders as well as arrange customs clearance for consignments leaving or entering the European Economic Community.

Ocean International was set up in 1988 to serve local and national importers and exporters in the business of international trade. Acting as a general freight forwarding agent, we take care of their consignments wherever they are coming from or heading to.
