Northants Laser Fabrication (NLF) specialises in the manufacture of laser cut profiles in small to medium batches. Using our in-house Trumpf 4000 Watt laser cutter, we’re able to accurately reproduce all manner of intricate profiles in a choice of mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium. At NLF we can cut mild steel up to 20mm, stainless steel up to 12mm, and aluminium up to 8mm thick.

Laser Services

For the ultimate in fine, precision cutting for in sheet metal processing the new Amada Laser Cutting Machine FOII 3015 uses state of the art technology. An easy to use system, it provides a cost effective way to cut mixed materials which is especially useful in parts production as the quality remains consistent. The laser has an output of 2,500 to 4,000 watts and the working area is 3,070 to 1,550mm. The Amada laser cutting machine can be used on a multitude of materials from thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 25mm. At Northants Laser we use this cutting edge piece of technology to produce a wide selection of intricate laser cut profiles.

Weaving Frames

Our weaving frames are one of our best sellers and continue to be a popular choice for use in schools and in play areas. The metal is laser cut into a range of shapes and then powdered coated in a variety of bright colours, which allows the finished item to be hung indoors or outside as it is completely weather resistant. These wonderful and unusual weaving frames enable children to develop many skills including dexterity and manipulation by using ribbons, threads and beads to create unique designs and pieces of art work.
