Modular Buildings

Our modular buildings are fully compliant to current building regulations and Part L2A. Modules are available in standard sizes of 3m x 8m. Our skilled craftsmen, however, create bespoke modular buildings by remodelling sizes and layouts for new or reconditioned units to suit sizes, space and layout requests of the customer's individual requirements. All of our reconditioned units comply with building regulations 2006. Relocation

At MBS Ltd we also specialise in the movement of existing modular units from their site to a new location. For all relocation requests, we visit the site to assess costs and options for quotation purposes free of charge. We undertake the relocation of modular buildings from start to finish using lorries and cranes to transport materials and structures. Our experienced members of staff work quickly and efficiently in a safe and professional manner to ensure the smooth operation of the modular building relocation.

At MBS Ltd we buy existing modular units for reconditioning purposes. If you have a modular unit you wish to sell, please contact us and we will be happy to visit your site and assess the property. Hire Buildings

At MBS Ltd we offer high quality modular units to hire for short term periods (approx six months) to long term periods (over three years). Hiring modular buildings is a great solution to give you more space and options within your setting. The bonus of hiring modular buildings is that they can range in shapes and sizes to suit your needs. Our standard modular building layouts for hire buildings include 3 bay single classrooms, 5 bay double classrooms and 6 bay double classrooms. Units can be altered in size, however, to specific requests.

Nursery Buildings

Our modular buildings are also commonly used as nurseries and crèche buildings. Units for this purpose are created with facilities suitable to children. Our four-bay nursery units (approximate size 12m x 8.2m) consist of an entrance lobby, classroom, storeroom, kitchen, 2 junior toilets with hand basins and a disabled toilet. Our five-bay nursery units (approximate size 15m x 8.2m) have an extra classroom, office, baby change room and baby sleep room. Our modular buildings for nurseries can be tailored in size and specification to suit specific requirements and requests.

Refurbishment Projects

Our available refurbished units are reconditioned by our highly skilled craftsmen to the very best of standards. The refurbishment of modular buildings is carried out to Building Regulations 2006. We also regularly refurbish modular buildings for clients who wish to use their unit for another purpose. Internally, we can redecorate rooms to suit other purposes and externally, we will replace and mend any damaged materials or surfaces to ensure the building is safe and presentable. We often replace steps and ramps that may have started to rot to ensure they are safe.

New and Reconditioned Buildings

Our new and reconditioned units are provided in standard module sizes of 8m x 3m and can be installed in standard layouts or to suit specific size and shape requirements. All modules can be installed in multiples of your choice and our highly experienced and skilled team will provide all the information and advice you need for the most effective solutions. Our new and reconditioned modular units are widely used to create classroom areas.
