JPM Contractors Ltd provides many different types of plant for street cleaning and commercial site clearance from their two centres, North London (M25) and the Midlands. Most recently they were honoured to supply road sweepers to the London Olympic Village. They have supplied a whole host of plant equipment to a variety of organisations. They have a comprehensive stock of HIABs and Tipper Lorries available for all types of haulage, and can also supply Diggers, Tele-Handlers, Tractors, Trailers, and Vacuum Tankers. We also provide containers of all sizes for all your on-site storage needs.

As an ever expanding company we now offer a variety of self drive vehicles for hire including Sweepers, Diggers, Tele-handlers and Jetting Units. To complement our services we have a team of dedicated fully qualified fitters who maintain all of our machinery. We also offer a call out service for plant breakdowns and our fitters can work on a large variety of plant and machinery. We can cater to short or long term contracts and the service is available 24 hours per day, including same day delivery on low loader transports.

Here at the JPM Group all our drivers hold the necessary CPCS Cards and complete an in-house training and competence test on our machinery before employment begins so that we can always guarantee our clients the best service possible. 

Operated Road Sweepers

JPM Contractors Ltd is centrally located to serve the whole of the UK with operated road sweepers, which has been their main business activity for over 20 years. All equipment is maintained to the highest standards by their Johnston trained mechanics who operate a 24hr call out service, making sure that you will never be unable to carry out essential road sweeping, and can maximise your hire period with round the clock operation. We have Truck Mounted Johnston 600 and VT650 Road sweepers available to hire, with the option of low loader transport. Also available is our fleet of Scarab Minor Road Sweepers for environments where a full size truck mounted operated road sweeper is not suited.

Road Sweeper Hire

Our fleet of Johnston VT 650 & 600 series road sweepers available operated by one our our trained employees, are also available for self drive hire. The Johnston road sweepers set the industry standard as they are very reliable - having Layland DAF chassis - and well suited to deal with the majority of applications in the modern building and maintenance environment. 

The sweepers are available to hire from our 2 main centres located in North London (M25) and the Midlands, which cover the whole of the UK, with a low loader transport same day delivery service. We have Johnston sweeper trained mechanics on hand 24hrs to maximise your hire period and to eliminate downtime. Our highly experienced, trained and skilled employees carry out comprehensive road sweeping training, available as packages for self drive sweeper hire customers upon request. Vehicle service reports are available from our two central offices. 

Johnston 600

The Johnston 600 Road Sweeper is an incredibly versatile road sweeper which has proved very popular in the Johnston range of truck mounted sweepers, available for operated and self-drive hire. Mounted on Leyland DAF chassis, with up to a 6 tonne payload, it supports a 1250 litre water tank, which reduces the number of times you need to refill. The 380mm x 1325mm wide sweep brush creates a sweeping width of 2200 mm that operates at an impressive 180 rpm. It also features a 500mm diameter channel brush. These sweepers are a very cost effective and productive option that meets the majority of road sweeping requirements. 

VT650

Johnston's most popular road sweeper is the VT650 Truck Mounted Road Sweeper. They have many of the same features as the aforementioned Johnston 600 but have a greater sweeping capacity and the addition of a gulley sucker. The sweeping width is far greater at 2600mm making this sweeper perfect for larger roads and contracts. They are available operated by one of our trained drivers or on a self drive basis, 24hrs a day, with service support and UK wide same day delivery.

Scarab Minor Road Sweepers

Scarab Minor VM Street Sweepers have been specifically designed to operate within confined environments where the truck mounted Johnston road sweepers would not operate efficiently. They are also available operated and as self drive hire. While they are generally used for cleaning smaller sites they can be used on a larger building site when operated more frequently, which is reliable with our 24hr mechanics on hand. We were honoured to be selected to deploy these road sweepers to the London Olympic Village. 

They have also been employed indoors and in covered spaces such as newly completed warehouses, schools, and multi-storey car parks. They are equipped to deal with built up moss and leaves. 

Self Drive Road Sweepers

The Scarab Minor VM is available on a self drive basis from as little as £450 + VAT per week. Ideal for confined spaces, these smaller road sweepers can be operated on affordable Red Diesel on a site as plant or White Diesel on public highways. It has a handy High Pressure Jet Wash which is great for cleaning street furniture. 

The larger Johnston 600 and VT650 truck mounted road sweepers are ideal for larger projects and contracts and are available for self drive hire at very competitive prices for short and longer term hire period (no minimum hire period). 

All of our road sweepers are covered by a 24hr breakdown service. Training packages are available and trained operators if required.
