Section Bending

Offering Sections that can be curved, degreased or polished, we also take on welding, drilling or machining on rings when required. Additionally, we can do 'T' Splitting and also have plate rolling facilities. Our previous section bending projects include support beams for the Chingford Underpass, an Entrance Motif for St Catherine’s Dock, and we were also involved on the Thames Barrier Project.

Tube Manipulation

To add to our expansive range of services we now take on tube manipulation and tube bending projects. With new equipment with the capability to bend round, square and rectangular tube, we can introduce any number of bends in any combination of directions according to your requirements.

Offering you an even better service, our new section benders have increased our capacity to take on small and medium assignments and, with the best finishing for a variety of special materials, our apparatus is an invaluable resource. With a maximum capacity of 76mm (3" OD, 2-1/2" GAS) of mild steel round tube and a wall thickness of 3mm, our machines can perform a wide range of bending, from R-10mm to R-400mm.

Round R72s

We now have the first Roundo R72s section bending machine in the UK, meaning that for the first time we can roll beams and channels on the X-X as well as tubes of up to 139 dia to a much higher standard than was formerly achievable.

Helical Rolling

We appreciate that Helical Rolling can be a nightmare. But with our new equipment designed to roll tube and flat bar helically, we can put an end to your anxieties. A cutting-edge CNC section bending machine allows bending specifications to be programmed. Trial and error is no more: we can produce a perfect helical bend first time.

A maximum capacity of up to 60mm tube is available in a variety of materials in flats, angles and other sections.

Ring Rolling

Here at JMR Section Benders Ltd we provide first class section bending and ring rolling services to the industry. Our highly skilled and experienced team have worked on various products during the years including the production of support beams for the Chingford Underpass, the entrance motif for St Catherine’s Dock and work for the Thames Barrier. Standard Shapes

We provide sections in a range of standard shapes. Sections can be curved, degreased or polished and other production methods can be carried out such as drilling, welding or machining on rings if required as well as T Splitting and plate rolling. Tube Bending

We are continually developing our range of equipment in order to provide customers with the most efficient and cost effective services. One of our latest developments is in our tube manipulation and tube bending area. We have introduced state of the art equipment with capabilities of bending round, square and rectangular tube as well as profiles and special shapes. This equipment can create almost any number of bends in any combination of directions. Alongside our tube bending services we also provide high quality finishing for special materials such as stainless steel, copper, brass, aluminium, special alloys and mild steel.

CNC Section Bending Machine

We are also pleased to introduce our new state of the art CNC section bending machine. This fantastic machine allows us to pre programme bending criteria to produce accurate helical bend. It also creates repetitive bending to create bends that are identical to the last. The combination of bends and straight sections can be easily created and the simultaneous application of pressure and rolling produces a smooth transition avoiding creasing and necking.

Staircase

Using our incredible CNC section bending equipment we can produce outstanding staircase features. Our highly trained operators enter all details (radius in plan, overall rise, degree) into the computer to produce staircases with a perfect helical bend. Pre-programming avoids unnecessary trial and error of manual methods.

60mm tube

We are extremely proud of our helical rolling capabilities. Our highly skilled and experienced engineers produce incredible results using our range of state of the art equipment. As if our equipment couldn’t get any better we have also invested in the fantastic Roundo R72 section bending machine. This enables us to roll beams and channels on the X-X as well as tubes up to 139 diameter.
