Products

JRD Bidel are specialist designers and manufacturers of hydraulic presses and two roll mixing mills. Our clients include organisations from the plastic and rubber, forging, chemical, composite, PTFE, DMC and metal powder industries alongside various other businesses requiring compression presses. We cater for markets such as aerospace and defence, chemical processing, engraving, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas to name but a few. We have been designing, developing purpose built presses and mills for nearly 35 years, working alongside a number of leading global companies across various industries. We use the latest technologies and invest in the most-skilled people to ensure that our products last longer and surpass expectations.

Used Hydraulic Press

We offer a range of high-quality used hydraulic presses to serve the needs of companies operating in various sectors. As our products are designed to last for years without maintenance being required, our used presses demonstrate the utmost quality without any compromise on quality being evident. Our range of used machines changes regularly, so do remember to check back to see if any new presses have been added to the catalogue.  If you’re looking for a new hydraulic press, we’re confident that you would find better efficiency elsewhere. Please note that some of our hydraulic presses are offered as factory rebuilt and may not be sold in as is condition.

Down Stroking Presses

More than 6000 BIPEL compression down stroking presses are currently in use worldwide. These presses, designed to mould thermoplastic materials, can be found in 60 different countries and are being used by market-leading names from several industries. Our presses have become synonymous with moulding and are using for rubber, aerospace and defence, mining, bearings, forging alongside multiple other industries requiring compression mould presses. The presses are built to last and have proven themselves to offer the utmost standards of efficiency, reliability and longevity. They offer economical, trouble-free hydraulics and enhanced heating efficiency and curing up to 450 degrees.

Pelletisers / Preformers

JRD Bidel have been manufacturing pellitisers/preformers for over 30 years. As technology has advanced, our machines have become more and more adept at producing high specification from most materials. Materials simply need to be compact and hold under pressure to be tableted by our machines. The horizontal pressing action allows formed tablets to fall into an off-take system which reduces off-loading time, enhancing productivity and output. Logos and brand identities can be impressed on the tablets whilst various different shapes can be formed using dies. Jamming and breakage are minimalised due to the construction of the machines, which are used in industries such as plastics, pyrotechnics and ceramics to name just a handful.

Two Roll Mixing Mill

JRD Bipel’s two roll mixing mills are used by various companies and organisations operating in the rubber, silicon and colour pigments industries, and offer advanced, patented technologies as well as modern design. The mills come with an array of special features including nip adjustment, nip guides that facilitate quick removal for cleaning and replacement as well as a role reversal ‘mix assist’ system. Independent variable roll speeds are on offer, as is a variable friction ratio facility. The mills are both compact and quiet and include spiral flow roll designs, allowing for highly accurate and rapid temperature adjustments to be made.

Up Stroking and Laboratory Presses

We at JRD Bipel are pleased to announce our new range of laboratory presses. Specifically designed for the smaller end of the market, the new range of presses are ideal for applications where under 40 tons of clamp force are required.   Sturdy and effective but affordable, these presses provide 10 to 50 tons of clamp force.  Standard platen sizes are 200mm x 200mm, 300mm x 300mm and 400mm x 400mm, with special platen sizes also available.  All products in this new range are compact and accessible and offer the ideal solution when less clamp force is required.  Visit our website where you can learn about our new up stroking and laboratory presses in greater detail.

We are pleased to offer purpose built hydraulic presses uniquely designed to meet individual customers’ specific requirements.  We can design and build a custom built hydraulic press to meet your precise needs and, thanks to our in-house design department and machining facilities, can deliver in as little as three to four months in many cases.  Our bespoke machines are built to be durable and long-lasting and boast money-saving trouble free hydraulics.  There is a wide range of control options available so you really can get exactly what you are looking for.  Let us know your requirements and we will discuss the project in detail and work with you to come up with your ideal solution.
