Our Monodeck 17T System has been specifically developed to reduce transmission though timber floors and is generally utilised where the finished floor height is not an issue. The Monodeck 17T is constructed of an 8mm layer of reconstituted acoustic chip foam, which has been bonded to a 9mm moisture resistant, medium-density fibreboard. This premier quality insulation system has been used extensively in many building projects and is used for coverage over the existing floorboards in new builds, refurbishments and conversions. The Mododeck 17T system enables timber flooring to meet Approved Document E 2003 – 2013 sound transmission regulations when implemented as part of a complete sound reduction system.
The Isomass Monodeck 26T system is an overlay platform system directly to floorboards designed to reduce noise transmission via timber floorboards and is utilised where the finished floor height is not a priority. Constructed of a layer of 8mm reconstituted acoustic foam chip and bonded to a 18mm V13 P5 moisture board, the Monodeck 26T system can be installed as part of complete sound reduction system. The Monodeck 26T system has been widely used throughout new builds, refurbishments and conversions and is an ideal solution for implementation over existing floorboards. When used as part of a complete sound reduction system the Monodeck 26 will meet Approved Document E 2003 – 2013 sound transmission regulations.
The Isomass Ltd manufactured Monodeck 30T system provides fully effective transmission reduction via an 8mm layer of reconstituted acoustic chip foam that has been bonded to a 22mm, V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard. This system has been specifically designed to reduce transmissions through timber floors across projects where the floor height is not a critical issue. The Monodeck 30T system has been widely implemented in many building projects across the UK including new builds, refurbishments and conversions. When this system is used as part of a complete sound reduction system it will meet Approved Document E 2003 – 2013 sound transmission regulations.
The Econocheck Shallow Batten system has been carefully designed by Isomass Ltd to ensure the reduction of sound transmission through a level concrete structural sub-floor. This system has been extensively used in building projects across the UK including refurbishments, new builds and conversions as well as being suitable for installation with underfloor heating systems. Construction of the Econocheck Shallow Batten system consists of a 10mm or 15mm reconstituted acoustic chip foam layer completely bonded to a certificated 35mm or 40mm deep softwood batten. This system is designed to be implemented over concrete floors and if installed as part of a complete sound reduction system will enable timber floors to meet Approved Document E 2003 – 2013 sound transmission regulations.
The Econocheck Deep Batten 75RD system, manufactured by Isomass Ltd, has been designed to provide superior sound transmission reduction through timber floors within a timber frame system. The Deep Batten 75RD can be installed as part of a complete sound reduction system, which will meet the Approved Document E 2003 – 2013 sound reduction regulations. The construction of this system consists of a 10mm or 15mm acoustic chip foam layer that is completely bonded to either a 35mm or a 40mm deep softwood batten. The Econocheck Deep Batten system can be used in building projects including new builds, refurbishments and conversions including implementation in underfloor heating systems.
Isomass Ltd has designed and manufactured the Econocheck Underscreed XL8 to be specifically placed within a masonry structural floor below the screed. This system isolates the screed from the substructural floor offering one of the best impact absorption systems available on the market. The Econocheck XL8 system features an innovative 8mm closed cell, cross linked foam layer, which once installed correctly offers full compliance with Approved Document E 2003 – 2013 regulations. This systems offers a number of benefits including water absorption prevention to ensure maximum acoustic performance, light and easy to handle rolls and a free site pre-screed inspection with installations over 500m².
