FIT-Infrared Ltd specialises in the manufacture of catalytic infrared oven systems and industrial spray booths.

FIT CURING - POWDER COATING

We also powder coat metal and wood. Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder that does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. FIT ABATEMENT

We are pleased to be the market leader in Gas Catalytic Abatement systems and design and build Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) abatement plants to suit specific customer requirements. We offer two main designs: the first design utilises activated carbon textiles to capture the VOC for automatic generation and oxidising by the catalytic reaction, and the second design oxidises the VOC by direct contact with the catalytic surface. Both types of abatement plants meet the requirements of local authorities and customer requirements and expectations of reduced energy usage. Other benefits include low operating costs, low maintenance costs, reduced CO2 emissions, zero hazardous waste/ landfill produced, and more.

FIT SPRAY BOOTH

We also manufacture top quality spray booths at our Darlington facility. Here we create a wide range of booths that are designed to meet specific customer requirements and budgets. We carry out initial site surveys before undertaking design and manufacturing processes to ensure the most effective solutions are created. We offer a range of booths including: dry filter, water wash, powder booth, wet paint booths, under floor extract, side extract, end extract and many more. All booths are fully tested and delivered in kit-form ready for delivery and re-installation at the customer’s site.

TECHNOLOGY

Catalytic heaters are fuelled by natural gas rather than a flame and require much lower temperatures to run. As there is no flame, catalytic heaters are ideal fur curing water and solvent based paints, glues, lacquers and powders as there is no risk of igniting. Catalytic heaters are widely used for heating engines and automotive body-parts that can be heated directly and result in increased energy transfer efficiency.
