Firmus Metals Ltd, located in Dewsbury West Yorkshire, supplies nickel alloys, titaniums and specialist stainless steels.  The name Firmus is taken from the Latin for firm, strong, reliable and solid and all these words apply to the owners, father and son, Ben and David, and their team of knowledgeable and helpful staff, who have decades of experience within the industry.  The word is flexibility, as we offer a superior service, always with the aim of meeting our customers’ needs.  We will always go out of our way to provide you with your exact requirements and hold a comprehensive stock of materials from quality assured sources.  However, if we do not have what you need in stock, we will find it for you ensuring that the source meets our exacting standards of quality

Sheet and Plate

We have 40 listed grades of exceptionally high quality sheets and plates, all available in stock and all from quality assured sources.  The standard thickness range is 0.5 mm to 25 mm.  If you require something different we will find it for you, using our Search and Supply Service to locate reliable sources worldwide.  Contact us and we will make sure we supply to your requirements.

Precision Strips

Precision strips are available in a range of thicknesses and widths; specifically from 0.1 mm to 1.6 mm thick and from 1.98 mm to 1000 mm wide.  We are able to supply all of our more than 40 listed grades from stock, due to our slitting lines.  The strips are supplied on plastic spools and you can choose these to be either oscillate wound or in pancake rolls.  As with all our products, we will source any other requirements

Flat Bars

More than 40 grades of flat bar are available in stock, ranging from 0.5 mm to 25 mm.  We have laser cutting and water jet cutting facilities, which means we can cut materials to our customers’ requirements.  Give us your design and we will undertake bespoke cutting to exactly meet your specifications.  When time is of the essence, we can provide a 24 hour turn around service.

Rings and Discs

A wide range of ring and disc sizes is available from 0.5mm to 25 mm and laser or water jet cut to specific requirements, which means that all dimensions can be supplied.  Our ring roller allows us to offer made to measure rings in all material grades, should you be after a non-standard size.  Let us know your needs and we will supply.
