Wire and Cable Sets

Express Assemblies is able to process large quantities of wires and cables with our Komax and Kodera wire and cable preparation equipment. Our automated crimping and stripping machines, as well as our gamma presses, can help us meet your precise requirements by measuring up to any job profile. Stripping wires means to remove the rubber or plastic insulation, exposing the raw metal for conductivity; crimping, meanwhile, is the process of making a permanent connection between two cables. Express Assemblies offers full soldering, tinning and crimping services for your needs. Individually-prepared cabling and wires are then assembled into sets for ready installation into your products.

Cable Assemblies and Wire Harnesses

Cable assemblies are groupings of cables used to conduct electrical power. The cables are assembled by being bound together with straps, cable ties, lacings, sleeves, or other materials and techniques. Express Assemblies uses a wide range of processes to effectively and efficiently assemble cables into tidy and useful groups for your needs and products. We source all of our components from top suppliers – and we bring the full range of our services into the work to ensure that you get exactly what you need.

Ribbon Cables

Ribbon cables, also called multi-wire planar cables, are cables in which a wide array of conducting wires are assembled to run parallel to each other on the same flat plane and within one flat piece of plastic. Ribbon cables are especially useful when a series of cables need to be assembled together, to conduct electricity or transmit signals, in the constrained space of electronic products and other devices. Ribbon cables are excellent to connect components within larger products. We have a dedicated ribbon cable press and tester and we can assemble ribbon cables from 10-way assemblies, up to 60-way assemblies. Our products can be built quickly and in large volumes.
