Products

Based in Swansea, South Wales, Evans Cooling Systems UK provide a unique range of Waterless Engine Coolants for use on a variety of motor vehicles and aircraft.

Whether the intended use is for modern, classic or vintage cars, heavy duty diesel engines, high performance engines, race motor bikes, or even liquid cooled aircraft engines, Evans Cooling Systems will likely have the waterless engine coolant to suit your needs.

In comparison to water-based coolants, which have a tendency to release steam inside engine cooling systems, the range of waterless engine coolants offered by the company have a low vapour pressure, remaining in liquid state under temperatures up to 180°C for improved heat transfer. This ensures improved engine performance and cooling, decreased erosion levels, while also minimising risk of engine damage.

Auto Cool 180°

Designed for use with modern production cars, the Auto Cool 180° waterless engine coolant will induce many benefits into a car engine system. Reduction in system pressure to minimise engine strain and damage, maximum horsepower through improved combustion efficiency and power, and a prevention of corrosion due to the lack of oxygen present in the mixture, will see users questioning why they hadn't switched to Evans Cooling Systems products earlier. Non-toxic contents, a largely odourless smell and 20 year plus durability stamp ensures that use of Auto Cool 180° is a hassle free and reliable cooling liquid to sooth the engine during high temperatures up to 180°. The coolant can also function in temperatures below -40° for use in snowier climbs, and is available in 2, 5, 25, 205 and 1000 Litre containers.

Classic Cool 180°

The Classic Cool 180° waterless engine coolant works best with classic cars, providing them with a new lease of life in the modern era. Benefits of long-term usage include prevention of boil-over and after-boil, made possible by the high boiling point at 180°, far above the operating temperature of the engine, preventing excess steam and resultant overheating from increased system pressure. Improved combustion efficiency allows the engine to reach maximum power, while cooling pump and general erosion is vastly reduced.

Vintage Cool 180°

For primary use with vintage car engines constructed using pre-nodular cast iron and steel, alongside copper, brass and aluminium components, our Vintage Cool 180° engine cooling product offers long term protection from overheating, whilst simultaneously improving performance. Water-based cooling products run into trouble due to the boiling point of water being similar to that of operating engine temperatures, which can lead to high vapour and localised boiling which stops effective cooling. The Vintage Cool 180° is a low viscosity synthetic liquid based product, ensuring the coolant remains in a liquid state at all times, eliminating boil-over and after-boil related engine damage. Manufactured in accordance with certified ISO procedural standard, the coolant also provides engine protection from corrosion, commonly resulting from water based cooling, and stops eliminate liner and cooling pump erosion.

Power Cool 180°

Created with high performance vehicles and track cars in mind, the Power Cool 180° waterless engine coolant will protect engines from overheating, even under the high octane demands of race day. The coolant is primarily compatible with aluminium, plus some steel and copper engine components, and rewards consistent use with reduced vapour pressures, corrosion, and erosion. Our coolant products have a boiling point above 180°, so unlike water based coolant products, hot spots leading to localised boiling is not a risk factor, maximising a race car's chances of reaching the finish line with minimum of fuss.

Power Sports

Our engine coolant products aren't limited solely to vehicles of the four-wheeled variety, with the Power Sports coolant variation applicable to track and trail motorbikes, MX bikes, enduro bikes, street bikes, and quad bikes. The coolant provides maximum horsepower rates which could make the difference of a vital few seconds on the track, while overheating problems are greatly reduced in comparison to water based coolant products, with a boiling point above 180°. Water pressure issues causing stress on engine hoses and other components are eliminated by ensuring pressure is contained within the cooling system, remaining in liquid state for efficient system cooling.

Aero Cool 180°

Our Aero Cool 180° waterless coolant product sees optimum engine cooling in the skies, being appropriate for use in Rotax plane engines. Available in 2, 5, 25, 205 and 1000 Litre containers, Aero Cool 180° increases longevity and improves engine performance while reducing potential erosion related damage, all with a proven 4-life durability. Fuel costs are reduced through elevated combustion efficiency and power, eliminating effects of overheating such as pre-ignition and detonation. Corrosion levels are also reduced through the lack of water and oxygen as a base, helping combat cavitations, oxidation and galvanic action seen in many anti-freeze products, which can lead to early replacement of pumps, radiators and liners.

Heavy Duty

Ensuring all bases are covered, we also supply coolant products for heavy duty vehicles and engines, including commercial engines, generators and agricultural vehicles. Heavy duty engines require heavy duty coolant products, free from the overheating, water pressure and corrosion problems associated with water based coolants. Erosion can be a problem with water based products, particularly when used on larger components found on bigger engines, but our heavy duty low viscosity synthetic liquid coolant ensures pockets of vapour resulting from water turbulence through the cooling system is a thing of the past. Evans Cooling products have a much higher vapour pressure tolerance, therefore vaporisation is less likely to occur when facing turbulent pressure changes.
