ThunderION

Thanks to a newly developed ionisation technique that requires no air support, ThunderION can provide long distance static elimination even up to one meter. It features disc shaped emitters that produce a high and balanced ion output (achieved through a combination of pulsed DC and a low frequency), which is ideal for applications where moving machine parts might hinder short range ionizing. Side slots on the reverse enable users to position mounting screws as required, which makes mounting more flexible.  The ThunderION has an integrated high voltage power supply and requires a low voltage input of only 24V DC.

Performax Easy

The Performax Easy is a static neutralizing system offering superior deflection performance which minimizes damage due to accidental bending. This rugged, reinforced device features an integrated high voltage power supply and requires only a low voltage input of 24V DC. Other features include a two colour bright LED display that shows when the device is ON (green) or when there is a FAULT (red). An additional remote on/off contact is also available. The Performax Easy has light, angled ends and an IP66 rated seal, which makes cleaning incredibly easy. It is supplied with universal mounting brackets to give various mounting options.

MEB

SIMCO’s MEB anti-static bars are commonly used on production machines where short range ionisation is possible thanks to the absence of moving parts that may interfere with the charge. All of its emitter points are coupled capacitively to the high voltage, which eliminates the possibility of an electrical shock upon accidental contact. Another advantage of the MEB is that the bar will continue to function when a number of the emitter points are short-circuited. P-Sh-N

The P-Sh-N is a highly effective anti-static bar capable of performing at long range, which is ideal for neutralisation of static electricity on materials where the distance varies. In certain conditions the range can be as much as 600mm. The P-Sh-N has such a strong, rigid construction that bending is virtually eliminated. The optional double cable connection (type P-Sh-N2) allows the bar to be connected to a two-phase (type LB) power unit, so that it will neutralise static electricity even on very fast moving webs.

ES-2J

The ES-2J is an electrically safe and shockless anti-static gun. The emitter point is coupled capacitively, which eliminates the possibility of an electrical shock upon accidental contact. A rugged design makes the ES-2J ideal for heavy duty industrial applications. Air flow is controlled by an ergonomically designed trigger – maximum working distance is 300mm. Top Gun

Top Gun III has been designed for light industrial applications. It offers high ion production to give optimal neutralisation of static charges, and benefits from high blow-off force and low air consumption for high-efficiency cleaning. Lightweight and durable, the gun features a light-touch trigger making it comfortable to use even over a long period of time, a filter at the exit to ensure the air is clean, a two-level LED indicating whether the gun is in “stand-by” or operational, a flow control valve, and a simple hanging device for easy mounting. Cobra

The Cobra ionizing air gun has been developed specifically for heavy-duty industrial applications. Built with a lightweight but highly durable and impact-resistant plastic housing, this state-of-the-art ionizer will stand up to even the most demanding environments and the most intense use. Airflow is controlled via an ergonomically designed trigger and amplified by a minimum factor of 6:1 thanks to ambient air that is drawn through the rear of the gun. The Cobra comes with 6 metres of cable as standard. Two guns can be connected to a single power unit.

ChargeMaster CM5

The ChargeMaster CM5 is the latest in a series of charge generators designed for static bonding applications. It is fully backwards compatible with ECM30/60 and ECM DI30/60. 

The CM5 features a new Current Control device that enables you to set a constant current vs a constant voltage. This will help to provide a much more stable charge and will automatically compensate for contamination and emitter pin wear.

Customers can also upgrade to Advanced Current Control. This keeps track of the supplied current to the electrode and switches the current to a safe low level when it senses that there is no material to be charged. This prevents sparkover and reduces emitter pin wear. When the material is reinserted the current will automatically switch back.

ECM lite

The ECM lite is compact, high voltage supply with an adjustable output voltage of 0 – 20 kV (maximum current of 0.7 mA) clearly shown on the digital display. The power supply is available with a positive or negative output voltage. In the event of sparkover or overloading, the ECM lite’s warning lamp will give the user clear indication. This state-of-the-art remote controlled charge generator has a powder-coated steel housing, an LCD display and a 2.5m cable. HDC Charging Bar

Rugged, reliable and versatile, HDC charging bars are used in a whole host of industrial applications. They feature a slot at the rear that facilitates easy mounting, and are provided with a resistor to avoid failures in the machine control system in the event of accidental sparkover. HDC charging bars are supplied with high voltage cable with PA protected sleeving – the cable output may be set straight or right-angled, depending on your requirements.

Electrostatic Fieldmeter type FMX 003

The FMX-003 is a highly compact electrostatic fieldmeter that fits conveniently into a pocket, making it perfect for carrying from site to site. With this device you can measure and store the field strength and polarity even in the most awkward, hard-to-reach places. Measuring distance is displayed via two integrated LEDs: an electrically conductive plastic housing with an earth connection to the side ensures accurate measurements. A Unit

The A Unit power unit can be used in a variety of industrial applications. It features an aluminium and powder-coated steel housing, easy-access control and connections, a high-voltage indicator lamp and a simple on/off switch for operation. MPM

The MultiPowerMaster (MPM) is another great device in the SIMCO range of high voltage power units. This relatively lightweight (3kg) system features electronically stabilised output voltage and a wide range of input voltages, which range from 100 – 240 V AC, 50 – 60 Hz. The MPM’s output voltage is preset at the factory to 3.3, 4.0, 5.0 or 7.0 kV. Optional extras include green and red LEDs incorporated in the top face and I/O connectors for interfacing with PLCs. The MPM is built within a sturdy aluminium and steel housing with a powder coat finish.

Sentry

The Aerostat Sentry is an ionizing air blower used to neutralise static charges in all sorts of applications. It is deal for light industrial environments and is particularly suited to the neutralisation of static charge on three-dimensional objects, such as injection moulded products. The compact and lightweight Sentry features an integrated fan which draws in ambient air and blows it along the anti-static bars – the air inlet may be fitted with a special filter, and the air volume and can adjusted electrically. The housing also contains a high-voltage power unit for the anti-static bars. Control knobs at the rear make the Sentry extremely easy to operate.

VolumION

The VolumION is a rugged and robust ionizing air blower with an effective ionising width of 500 mm. It consists of a motor, two fans and an ionisation unit all contained within a powder-coated steel housing. Ambient air is drawn on two sides and blown off along three anti-static bars. Typhoon

SIMCO’s Typhoon airknives are used to eliminate static and remove particles from flat or contoured surfaces. They give a continuous stream of clean ionised air which removes all surface contamination, making them ideal for auto and truck body cleaning (prior to painting) and other such applications. Typhoon airknives use blowers instead of compressed air, which tends to reduce operational costs by at least 30%, sometimes as much as 70%.
