We have recently upgraded our machinery to include a state of the art milling and lathe machine capable of machining cylinders up to 5m in length. We have the in house facilities, designers and professional engineers to enable us to manufacture all types and sizes of cylinders. Compent Stockists

DR Hydraulics and Engineering have a large stock of equipment and spares to ensure that our customers do not have to wait for their orders. We stock chrome bar and smooth bore tubes and hydraulic & pneumatic seals as well as other in demand materials. If we do not stock the materials that you require then we can easily source them from our network of preferred partners. If we do not have specific materials in stock, such as specific pneumatic seals, then we can generally obtain the equipment for next day delivery. We understand that downtime of machines is costly and will ensure we can provide your parts as quickly as possible.

Services

We offer a wide range of services through our fully equipped machine workplace. We are experts in the re-chroming of piston rods and barrels and have experience in working on all sizes as well as marine specifications and nickel based corrosion resistant plating. We also offer on and off site sensitive electroplating service. We undertake repairs on piston rods, pump shafts and printing rolls and can provide and anti-corrosion finish and erosion protection. These are only a few of the services we offer and we provide an extensive repair and maintenance service specifically to our customer’s specifications.

24 Hour Engineering Service

At DR Hydraulics and Engineering we are proud to offer a 24 hour engineering service. We understand the importance of having machines working to their full capabilities and know that a broken machine can result in loss of money and missed deadlines. At DR Hydraulics we will work 24 hours to ensure that your downtime is minimised and we can provide this service to all of our customers whether you are a one off customer or a long standing client. We have the capabilities to undertake on and off site repairs 24 hours per day using our experienced workforce and state of the art equipment.

CAD Department

The latest addition to our workplace is our Computer Aided Design (CAD) department. Our CAD department along with our investment in Solidworks have helped to speed up the entire design process and we now have the ability to render 2D and 3D drawings to ensure the precision manufacture of our cylinders. We can supply designs to our customers in a range of formats including PDF, DXF, DWG and e-drawings. We can now offer an engineering drafting service giving us the capability to convert customer hand drawings and sketches into 2D and 3D drawings. Our design engineer can also supply 3D animated drafts of working cylinders for customer inspection.
