Polyurethane Moulders

Here at Apple Polyurethanes Ltd, we have the capabilities and facilities to provide customers with a wide range of products using polyurethane materials. We work closely with customers from early stages to ensure the most effective solutions are created.

Elastomers

Elastomers and blown elastomers provide high-wear performance and strength and offer moulded densities from 600-1200kg/m3 and hardness from 30ShA to 70 ShD. They are used to manufacture a wide range of products such as playground equipment, footwear, compressor parts and spacers fro re-decking ships.

Rigid Foam

Polyurethane rigid foam is widely used for mouldings such as incubators that require a high quality surface finish as well as accurate insulation and stiffness properties.

Polyurethane rigid foam is a high-strength material with excellent stiffness and thermal insulation properties.

Integral Skin

Integral skin foam is a material used widely for its excellent cushioning performance, low weight and durability. It is widely used to manufacture products such as seats and armrests.

Moulded densities of this material feature 200-400 kg/m3 and hardnesses from 20 – 70 ShA.

The use of in-mould paint is effective for creating a good cosmetic finish. We can supply products colour matched to suit specific requirements.
 

HAIgene for medical aid applications

HAIgene products feature a biocide within the polyurethane to create extra protection against infections such as MRSA and C Difficule. HAIgene can be applied to all types of polyurethane and is widely used with integral skin products.

COUNTER STRiKE footbeds

Our Counter STRiKE footbeds feature built-in odour control, an anti-fungal layer and GEL TECHNOLOGY shock absorbing strike areas with low density PU foam.

Multi layered products

The use of polyurethane with other plastic or natural products is used to encapsulate or laminate. Multi-layered or multi-density polyurethane products enable us to incorporate different properties into the moulding. For example, we can create high wear areas and cushioning areas where required.
