VacuMaster Lifting Devices

Schmalz VacuMaster lifting equipment is used in manufacturing facilities throughout the world. These best-selling, German-engineered vacuum devices are widely recognised for their reliability, performance and precision, all of which make the handling of heavy or bulky items – including sheet materials, glass, stone and cowlings – extremely safe, convenient and easy. 

VacuMaster lifting devices are ideal for any application that requires a safe, non-marking method of handling materials. They are commonly used in the Aerospace industry for the handling of skins, billets, raw materials and final production parts, as well as for loading guillotines, CNC machines and conveyors in general manufacturing.

Storemaster

With the unmistakable stamp of high quality German engineering, storemaster® includes a whole range of reliable, convenient, space-saving systems that help to clean up any production area, improving not only workplace safety but also production efficiency. Cranes

AVL offers a selection of cranes for a variety of lifting applications. Standard Post and Jib type cranes are ideal if you simply need a crane on its own, but we also offer a modified version to suit Jumbo (complete with onboard pump and filter bracket) or VacuMaster lifting devices. A selection of overhead cranes, ‘H’ style gantries and monorails can also be supplied. Used Equipment

As well as a full range of brand new vacuum lifting equipment, AVL can from time to time supply a number of well-maintained and cost-effective used devices which can often make for a more economical material handling solution. Recent stocked items have included a VacuMaster Glass lifting device with a capacity of 300kg and a power rotate of 180 degrees – this device in particular had only been used for demonstration purposes. Leasing

Equipment leasing is a convenient and cost-effective way of investing in new material handling technologies. It helps ease cash flow, allowing customers to purchase the equipment they need without having to break the bank. Acimex

AVL are one of few suppliers able to offer vacuum handling equipment for heavy, bulky items weighing over 3,000kg. Acimex devices are ideal for moving and positioning things like concrete and steel sections, but generally find use in all manner of applications across numerous industries. On the AVL website you’ll find a few examples showing how Acimex heavy handling equipment has been used in past, from the positioning of 12,000kg road sections to the delivery of 10 tonne steel pipes.

Vacuum Pumping Station

The AV40/90 is a vacuum pumping station used to ensure the vacuum pump does not get flooded. The system is designed to automatically empty the tank at the end of each machining process, making it ideal in aerospace machining applications where it can often take hours to complete a job. TruLaser

The Trumpf TruLaser 1030 is an entry-level laser welding system capable of processing a range of materials, including steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and a variety of non-ferrous metals. It benefits from an energy-efficient, solid-state laser system offering outstanding productivity in thin sheets.
