Bureau Service

Since 1981, APT has been an Approved BACS Bureau able to make and collect payments on your behalf thus removing the need for you to submit your files directly to BACS. This service means that you are not required to buy specialist software or take responsibility for the correct transmission of the files - APT can do all this for you, including Direct Debits, payroll, supplier payments, refunds, and expenses. The automated service we can provide allows you to have a much more predictable cash flow and control over your company finances. APT are even able to assist you in becoming an Indirect Submitter which will allow us to begin providing our Bureau Service.

ValiData

APT is able to provide a ValiData service which provides you with the means to check the validity of sort codes and account numbers in real time to ensure your payment or collection instructions are correct or even possible. The ValiData service aims to reduce BACS and CHAPS rejections and the possibility of needing to resubmit data. ValiData is also able to provide a search function for branch names and allows you to view the allowed transactions and contact details of branches. ValiData is available online through the APT website or as a fully integrated solution for your existing software.

DataSafe

For improved levels of data security, APT can provide our DataSafe encryption program which works together with our Connect-iP. DataSafe works by encrypting payroll system data files automatically before going through the BACS process. This automatic encryption stops your files from being illegitimately viewed and fraudulently edited, therefore protecting the confidentiality of your data straight away. DataSafe is also able to provide a monitoring service for multiple folders in separate locations. APT provides secure login details to authorised personnel only to ensure the security of the system.

iConnect

APT is now able to offer a brand new BACSTEL-iP solution: iConnect. iConnect is a user-friendly BACS software suite with a lot of functionality. Completely compatible with HMRC/RTI, iConnect provides the facility to make quick data transmissions and is available in different versions to suit your business needs. Our versions include an installed version and a cloud version. The installed package can be installed on a PC or a server with three user accounts as standard. The cloud version allows you to access iConnect from any computer and any location. Some of iConnect's many features include an Industry Sort Code Directory (ISCD) which is updated weekly and displays accounts and branch details; an iCheck data integrity checker which creates an internal database of your previously checked account numbers and sort codes; and free online assistance from APT.
