Sawn Timber – Oak

A Hingley & Son Ltd are able to take various species and convert them in our saw mill to any specification you require. Oak is just one of the many varieties of wood that we regularly receive orders for. We offer construction timbers and beams for traditional framing (both new build and restoration), fencing oak, air dried kiln seasoned oak, 4/6 year dried beams, and sawn timbers for lock gates and other structural applications such as sea defence and dock work.

Timber Mats

Timber mats, also known as Bog Mats or Navvy Mats, may be made from both hardwood and softwood materials. After being bolted together, these can be laid out to create temporary access roads or ground stabilisation platforms for mobile cranes and other heavy plant. Timber made may be made in all shapes and sizes for construction, civil engineering and gas & water pipe line applications.
