ISO Calibration and Testing

Automotive Calibration technicians are able to test and calibrate most workshop and bodyshop tools, including pressure gauges, torque wrenches and multimeters. With each calibrated tool we provide full certification in electronic format – certificates are traceable to either UKAS Approved Laboratories or other recognised National Standards. Tool Supplys and Repair

Automotive Calibration can also supply a range of workshop tools and spares. We carry a limited stock of torque wrenches and pressure gauges but we can provide items to your exact requirements with full certification within just a few days. 

Tools can also be repaired. We carry a range of spares for workshop tools such as torque wrenches, gauges, multimeters and wheel aligners, and can therefore fix most problems whilst on-site. This saves you the time, cost and inconvenience of sending your tools away. 

Service Coverage

With technicians in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, Automotive Calibration is able to offer a UK-wide service. We cover most counties in England (as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Perth) on a monthly basis and several other Scottish cities and counties on a quarterly basis. Our service in Northern Ireland extends to all of Connacht and Ulster.

Certification

Certificates are issued against test equipment that has been calibrated in UKAS approved laboratories and are therefore traceable to National Standards. Certificates also act as a record of tool performance and should be retained for a minimum of 12 months. 

Automotive Calibration holds information on its databases for five years so that clients can refer back to old certificates if needed. After the first calibration has been carried out, clients are reminded automatically when their calibration certification is due for renewal. Measuring and Test Equipment

Any equipment that is used to demonstrate the conformance of a product to a particular requirement needs to be calibrated and must have records traceable back to a nationally recognised standard. Equipment that is used for indication purposes only may be excluded from the calibration system, but evidence to support the decision must exist and the equipment needs to be clearly identified.
