Westley Engineering’s services include contract pressing, precision pressing, multi-stage press work, sub-assembly, and final assembly. We can manufacture for low and high volumes and we have up to 160 tonnes of pressing capacity.

Bespoke CNC and precision machining also make up a number of our services. We have significant knowledge in spark and wire erosion in addition to our precision CNC machining abilities.

For customers who require specialist services like heat treatment and plating, Westley Engineering can source and control these.

Our team is able to work confidently with a diverse number of materials such as phosphor bronze, nickel, copper, steel and more.

Metal Pressings

Westley Engineering’s experience in press work enables the team to manufacture all kinds of metal pressings.

This modern form of manufacture manipulates metal materials until it arrives at the desired shape for the component. Blanks, coils, or strip materials are fed into the pressing machine, after which it is formed further through coining or cutting.

Our manufacturing facilities house metal pressing machines with a range of 20 to 160 tonnes.

We can completely finish customers’ pressed components with our plating services, tapping services, and spot welding services. We also paint components too.

Precision Machining

Precision machining is the process of creating a product’s measurements to a very high tolerance. Ultimately it meets a component specification to an extremely high standard and this is why we use this as an integral part of our work process so that our customers get what they want.

Westley Engineering offer bespoke precision machining services for both one-off batches and larger ones. Our customers get these CNC machining services on a sub-contract basis.

We have a lot of experience in precision machining. By involving our designers in your component creation, Westley Engineering can provide you with much economic value. Maintenance costs are reduced as well as the amount of operations and service costs.
