Content of a Racking Inspection Report

Racking Inspection Reports feature a breakdown of important issues noted by the rack inspector during the inspection. The inspector will also note any other relevant issues found. The report features essential reference material and technical notes, guidance on ‘best practise’ and advice on general warehousing issues. Damage Reports are also included and feature damage recorded by location, red risk notices for serious defects that require urgent attention, and damage summaries by SEMA damage code and type featuring identification of urgent issues and prioritisation of remedial action.

Rack Inspection Courses

Our onsite rack inspection training courses are customised to suit different company requirements and enables businesses to undertake their own internal inspections on a regular basis. Our rack inspection courses are carried out by our fully qualified SEMA trained and accredited rack inspectors (SARI). The course is suitable for all ability levels and does not require candidates to have any prior experience in warehousing or truck driving. It is designed to instruct candidates with the correct method and skills needed to carry out internal rack inspections in accordance with PUWER, Health and Safety and SEMA guidelines.
