We’re able to manufacture heating and cooling coils to almost any size using ½” or 5/8” O.D (Outside Diameter) copper tubes with aluminium or copper fins and galvanised or stainless steel casings for duct mounting. We use state of the art design software to develop heating/cooling coils in close accordance with customer requirements. Air Cooled Condensers

Our air cooled condensers include flat bed with horizontal coil or vertical coil arrangements in V and W configurations for the smallest possible footprint. They are typically used in refrigeration compressor packs, water chillers and industrial and commercial refrigeration plant. They can be fitted with a range of optional features, including polyester-coated aluminium fins, copper fins, tinned copper fins, factory fitted control panels, based frames with compressor housings and ATEX fans. Control Panels

HC Coils Ltd offers a range of factory-fitted fan control panels for maintaining the set point of varying load and ambient in dry air coolers and air cooled condensers. Standard fan control panels comprise of the following: 

• AC Frequency Inverter and EC fan speed controls to help reduce energy consumption and lower noise levels.
• IP65 weatherproof enclosure with door interlocked isolator, circuit breakers, individual motor contactors and overload, fan stage controller, anti condensation heater and volt free fan trip indication.

Site Services

At HC Coils Ltd we can also repair and replace your existing faulty coils. Our engineers will come to your site, inspect the installation and advise you on the most practical and cost-effective solution. If necessary, we can:

Applications of our Heating & Cooling Coil Products

• Coils: designed and manufactured for ducted air streams for direct duct mountings or installation in air handling units where they are used to heat or cool air using steam, water, glycol or refrigerant. These coils are widely used in commercial buildings, hospitals, cleanrooms and food manufacturing environments.
• Dry Air Coolers - Air Blast Radiators: used in closed loop cooling systems for air conditioning, waste heat dump and process cooling for plastic moulding machines, air compressors, induction furnaces, free cooling and CHP engine generator engine cooling.
• Air Cooled Condensers: used for refrigeration systems on water chillers in supermarkets, convenience stores, food manufacturing and cold storage.

Wetted Surface – Adiabatic Coolers

Here at HC Coils, we recommend, manufacture and supply adiabatic cooler solutions to meet your needs. Adiabatic cooling enables water to be cooled to within 6 degrees Celsius of the ambient wet bulb, thus increasing the cooling effect when the ambient dry bulb is 3 degrees Celsius above the design wet bulb. Free Coolers

Dry Air Coolers can provide free cooling for water cooling applications for most of the year by being arranged in series with the refrigeration water chiller. With this arrangement, businesses can benefit from immediate energy savings. Our free cooling packages feature integrated components to enable fast and efficient onsite installation. Our regular free cooling packages include:

• 3 way diverting valve with 24 V actuator

Industrial Air Coolers for R717 (Ammonia, NH3) Refrigerant

HC Coils supplies top of the range industrial air coolers for R717 (ammonia, NH3) refrigerant. These units feature T304 stainless steel tubes, high efficiency Z fin coil configuration with hin fin/ tube surface area ration, aluminium or polyester coated aluminium fins, AC aerofoil or EC fans, various casing options and more. The units are easy to maintain and clean with a clean-in-position draintray (with a 75mm gap). Special configurations can also be created to suit specific customer requirements. CCZ Ceiling Mounted Cooler

We also supply our excellent CCZ range of ceiling mounted coolers. This range has been expertly designed to feature the Z Fin Coil configuration which creates 50% more secondary to primary surface area on the evaporator coils. This cooler also features reduced fan power and as the coils are more efficient, overall, customers can benefit from a higher specification product at a lower cost compared to many contemporaries on the market. CSCM Commercial Unit Coolers

Our commercial unit coolers have been designed for installation in small to medium sized cold rooms for the storage of food. Our units feature a modular design and are fitted with Ziehl Abegg AC fans. Cooling capacities range from 3kW to 28 kW using DX Refrigerant of Glycol Secondary Cooling Fluids. They feature a low profile modular design and backward curved radial fans for the reduction of noise output.
