Quick Opening Closure - Bandlock™ 2

GD Bandlock™ 2 closures are designed and manufactured to suit high pressure applications. They provide horizontal and vertical access to any pressure vessel in a matter of seconds and can be operated safely at great speed. More than 20,000 units are in operation worldwide which is a clear indication of their high performance and reliability. They are widely used for applications including: Pipeline Pig Traps, Filters, Coalescers, Strainers, Separators, Meter Skid Systems and Hydrocyclones. Quick Opening Closure - Rotalock™

The GD Rotalock™ has been expertly designed and manufactured to provide users with a safe, cost-effective solution for low pressure applications. It operates with low pressures to ANSI 300 and diameters from six inches to 14 inches and enables quick access to various vessels in petrochemical, pharmaceutical and chemical process technologies at temperatures ranging from -30 degrees C up to +200 degrees C. The GD Rotalock™ features field weldable hubs, durable seal, secure cap, dual hinging, and is designed in accordance with ASME VIII Div.1.ASME Code Stamp with U-2A partial data report can be furnished as an option.

Non-intrusive Pig Signaller - Hi-T MagAlert

The Hi-T Magalert is a non-intrusive magnetic pig signaller that has been designed and manufactured to detect, signal and log the passage of magnetic pigs at critical points along a pipeline. This unit can be used for both offshore and onshore applications and can log up to 100 events with time and date. It is ATEX compliant and features a fully certified aluminium or 316 stainless steel explosion-proof housing suitable for use in Zone 1, Zone 2 group IIA, IIB and H2 Areas. Multiple Pig Launching (MPL) Systems

Our excellent range of multiple pig launching systems has been designed to suit topside and subsea applications and enable sequential pig launching operation remotely without the need to depressurise the launcher. This is achieved via field-proven pig, stop and bypass (PSB) mechanisms. For topside launchers a Local Control Panel provides the control logic and status monitoring needed to operate the Multiple Pig Launcher system. Signals are relayed to the control room and the LCP enables valve and PSB operations to be performed in local mode (for maintenance) and remotely (for normal pigging operations).

Special Closure Applications

GD Engineering also offers high quality closure solutions suitable for use with a range of industrial and environmental applications where rapid safe access to a pressurised vessel is required. Our talented team uses 3D solid modelling and ANSYS FEA software to design and create outstanding results. The range features: Industrial/ Domestic Waste Treatment Closures, 18inch Diameter Industrial Dry Cleaning Closures, Medical Waste Treatment Closures and High Pressure Test Vessel Closures.

Scraper and Sphere Signalling - Hi-T Pigalert™

The Hi-T Pigalert™ is manufactured to three specifications: ANSI Class 600, ANSI Class 900 and ANSI Class 1500. These models are designed and manufactured for use at temperatures from -20 degrees C up to +200 degrees C. They are straightforward to install and operate and feature a pivotless tumbler mechanism and laminated trigger blade to provide the depth of penetration into the pipeline for a reliable and visible signal with negligible effect on the flow. The Hi-T Pigalert™ carries full Transco (British Gas) approval.
