Hinged locks are finished in Nickel, Brass, or Bronze Metallic Antique. Black and polished chrome are also available if specially requested.

Sliding Locks

Bramah offers a range of sliding door locks which can be used on both wooden and metal doors. VNS sliding locks are perfect for shop fronts, closets and patios, while SD locks are usually used on collapsible gates and bostwick gates that close warehouses or aircraft hangers. Our robust sliding door locks feature hardened bolts and outside plates, with the option of an integrated alarm contact if requested. Both VNS and SD locks are available in a choice of standard materials, including Nickel, Brass or Bronze Metallic Antique.

Padlocks

Our award winning Bramah BP17 Padlock is both highly secure and attractive. These padlocks are manufactured with a high security Bramah Key mechanism, a stainless steel case and a hardened shackle for extra durability. Like all of our products, the Bramah BP17 padlock is a tried and tested design. In 1980, it even won a United Kingdom Design Council award. The BP17 is ideal for most medium risk security applications.

Cabinet/Display Locks

Our rugged Bramah Cabinet and Display locks are the perfect solution for museum displays, retail cabinets, despatch boxes, drug storage, and bespoke cabinets. In fact, our locks designed with the application in mind, so that they are practical and versatile. Our cabinet and display locks are available in numerous finishes including brass and chrome. If you need a lock for a new design, all you need to do is send us the specifications of your cabinet or display and we’ll come up with a reliable, cost-effective solution that is tailored to the application.

Safes

If you need a safe you can utterly depend on, Bramah has the answers. Our safes are specifically designed with two adjustable anchor lugs for fitting into perimeter walls. Unbelievably secure, our safes comprise of a body made from 6mm steel plate electrically welded at the seams for a single solid unit. Doors are made from 13mm steel plate and come with a Bramah key mechanism which locks the door into a solid frame. Three wheel keyless combination locks can be fitted as an alternative. Either way, the entire lock area is entirely drill resistant.

Shunted Locks

Here at Bramah, we have been manufacturing high security shunted locks for over 40 years. These are usually mortice deadlocks with a microswitch fitted for use in burglar alarm systems. While the deadlock is unlocked, the alarm remains inactive. When it is locked, the alarm turns on. If the door is forced open, the door contact will be the first device that is activated, triggering an alarm and therefore allowing the police to be contacted faster in the event of an intrusion. Shunted locks can easily be installed on commercial properties using a surface run cable.

Keys

Every one of our keys are unique. Not only do we manufacture our keys in-house, but we also build the key machines that cut them in our factory. Bramah keys are made of stainless steel and have a distinctive round appearance with a crown at the top. All of our keys come supplied with a protective cap to prevent lint and dust accumulating in the centre or in the cuts. In total, we offer nine shank lengths for different door widths, including 37mm (standard length), 50mm, 63mm, 82mm, 110mm, 133mm, 152mm, 200mm and 230mm. We also have a range of ex-stock options. Extra or replacement keys can also be ordered by person or by post, and these may be despatched within 48 hours.

Rola Locks

Bramah has been manufacturing the Rola Lock range since the 1950s. Originally designed to secure wooden sash windows, the Rola Lock range now includes locks for alternative varieties of windows, French doors, back gates and garden sheds. Rola Locking bolts are used to secure wooden and metal French doors, back doors and gates. They are also often used as a temporary solution on previously damaged or attacked doors. An easy to grasp knob makes these locking solutions ideal for users with impaired dexterity. Furthermore, because these bolts do not lock automatically, they are the best choice for disabled user. Multi Purpose Locks

The Rola range of multi-purpose locks have been designed to provide locking solutions in more difficult locking applications where simple geometrics inhibits the use of a standard Rola or Bramah lock (for example, on wooden and metal sliding doors, grilles and other areas where imagination is needed). Multi-purpose Rola locks utilise several specially developed components that allow the use of a key locking mechanism in a tricky installation, ensuring your property complies with insurance requirements.

Hinge Bolts

Rola sells hinge bolts for outward-opening main entrance doors across the UK. Outward-opening doors expose hinges; these hinges open a vulnerability in which the hinge pins could be removed and the door will come open. We help you stop this from happening by supplying hinge bolts that keep a door fixed in place even if the hinges are removed. Hinge bolts can also be used to support hinges on inward-opening doors.

Keys and Fitting Tools

Rola produces a range of keys, available in three different lengths; 28mm, 70mm, and 105mm. 70mm is the standard size used in the UK. We supply these keys loose or in pairs. Rola also produces fitting tools for Bramah locksmiths, allowing locksmiths to fit Rola parts to doors and in other uses on more than one occasion.

Burglar Alarms

Bramah fits a range of wired or wireless alarm systems from various brands – namely Cooper or Texecom, for control equipment; and Pyronix, Optex, and CQR for detection devices. Our products include door contacts, passive infrared detectors, vibration detectors, break-glass detectors, and pet detectors. Our alarm installations all comply with the latest UK standards and we are members of the SSAIB police-approved inspection body. Please visit our website for details.

Door Entry Systems

Bramah supplies and can install entry systems suitable for homes, flats, and offices. Our Entryphone and BPT brands are both market-leading products; Entryphone is preferred by engineers, while BPT is popular in the architectural and design market. We also supply audio-only or audio/visual products, and with additional features such as card access, keyboard control, and more. Please visit our website for details.

Closed Circuit TV

Bramah supplies and can install CCTV (closed-circuit television) cameras suitable for any needs. Poor CCTV installations are almost inadequate because they were badly installed – not because the hardware is deficient. We make sure that your CCTV solution meets your security requirements. We offer low lux cameras, domes that can scan areas on a programmed basis or in response to alarms, digital video recorders with 20-days of recording capacity, flat screens for monitoring camera feeds, network cameras, and many other products. Please visit our website for details.

Access Control

Illuminating your property is known to be an effective deterrent to crime.  Thieves, vandals, etc, are far less likely to carry out their deeds when clearly visible in well-lit conditions.  We offer security lighting at various levels, often using simple movement detectors fixed to flood lights.  This provides very effective lighting, spotlighting those who should not be on your property.  We also use equipment from the respected external detector supplier, GJD, employing more sophisticated measures to control lights around the perimeter of properties.  We will be pleased to discuss your requirements and suggest the equipment best suited to your needs.
